What to choose in 2021
Hello. I've been away for a while in this hobby, and now I was thinking of picking it up again. I have 3 9x radios, one with upgraded chip aswell thanks to jhsa. One is fixed after a reverse polarity, as is why I found this great forum. And the last is in pieces for custom paint and stuff. All is mo...

Re: About 9Xtreme
Quite frankly I don't get this at all.. I'm all lost in all the short words.. XJT DHT DJT you name it.. but what I want i think is a XJT module.. but it's expensive.. and also i woul rather have it internally like the DHT module.. and i want the antenna to be stock as the 9X. no antenna in the back....

Re: About 9Xtreme
I like and recommend the external FrSky XJT module with FrSky X-Series telemetry and you can use it as a DJT module which uses D-Series sensors. The DHT has some limitations and you can install the XJT internally with modifications. See here for more info: (http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.p...

Re: Turnigy 9x magic smoke
A great looking TX there mate :) Do you have a internal ftdi chip? so you can just plug usb into the tx? I was thinking, this is really much, so I have to start somewhere.. so i will surely buy some stripboard. And start with the tiny soldering, including telemetry, BT voicemod and so forth.. i will...

On the other hand, now i've trie...

Re: Turnigy 9x magic smoke
I suggest double checking every pin, of the processor, is soldered fully. Use a pin or a needle, and gently 'flick' each pin sideways. If it is not soldered, then it will move slightly and sound different to pins that are properly soldered. If you can flash successfully, then quite a lot is working...

Re: Turnigy 9x magic smoke
