is it there the possibility to have a "kit" without soldered connectors? or the connectors will be soldered at the manufacture process, I am planning to use mine with my 9XR....

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
Mike thanks for your hard work. I know this is in the early stages still but is it there a possibility to upgrade the LCD screen, maybe in a DIY transmitter, to a 212x64 pixels or anything different than the stock LCD Display. Also is there going to be LUA support for this product? thanks again. Mig...

Re: er9x development
Just posted new test versions. 1. '128/'2561 include 1-shot and 1-shotR as functions in the extra 6 logical switches. 2. All versions include ONCE and ALL as rate options in voice alarms. ONCE plays the voice file once when a model is loaded (therefore include a startup). ALL is for use by 3-positi...

Re: Arduino Due add on to 9X
STM32F4xx devices have Real Time Clock (RTC) inside, with support of internal calibrated 32768 Hz oscillator or external (more accurate) 32768 Hz oscillator. RTC peripheral has also backup register support, which means that when you reset MCU, registers are not reset or if power is off and you have ...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Well done.. If you build the strip board you have to pay attention to the fact that the arduino has A4 and A5 on an different place.. Probably just solder the resistors from the arduino (A4, A5) directly to the strip where pin 2 of the LM386 is soldered. Will try to have a look tomorrow. I'm buildi...

reroute the trim switches using PC0 and LCD_WR, you can replace them by EXT3 and EXT4 options on the 3-POS option list make haptic available on one of the voice module to have the extra switch pin connected to a mainboard processor pin if available great ideas !!!! I think we can access bootloader m...

can a FM24C256 or MB85RC256V serial RAM be implemented?
this particular cases are 256k (32kx8) and is an I2C device
also how about a AT24C256 for extra eeprom space.

Re: er9x development
so we will have the options to use PC0, PG2, PA0, PA1, PA2, PA3 and PB7 on the 9x and LCD2, LCD3, PB7 and the lines you call X1, X2 and X3.
how much memory or how hard will be to replace RUD, ELE, AIL, GEAR with 3 ways switches and replace trainer with a switch.
it will feels more like my DX9....

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
As you probably have read on the forum Mike is implementing a serial communication between the voice module and the radio instead of using the LCD lines and the CLK signal. For that to happen the throttle trims must be connected to the voice module. That is an easy operation. Just removing two wire...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
this schematic is fairly easy to understand but I have a few questions. the lm386 audio amp seems to be used as differential amplifier using R10/R4 as voltage divider for the invert input (pin2) and R8/R9 as voltage divider for the non-inverted input (pin3). beeper sound is amplified by the inverted...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
The only difference between the 328 and the 328P is the P stands for "picoPower", so the processor uses slightly less power. I've just realised that the option of typing '1' to '9' in the test vesion only works if it is the parallel version, they don't work in the serial version. I'm tryi...
