Re: S8R & X8R receivers will not bind to Taranis X9D-Plus
it would be more accurate to say that I can only communicate with DXR receivers and I tried burning firmware 2.2.4 from Companion without the expected change. the rxnum sequence is out of order and I suppose this goes hand in hand with other. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: S8R & X8R receivers will not bind to Taranis X9D-Plus
I have an early version X9D that does not communicate with the X8R receivers since the XJT v2.1.0 upgrade. The small printing on the Frsky site warns about that possibility. Could we re burn the opentx 2.2.4 firmware to over write the XJT patch. Or have I lost the forest for the trees.

Re: Taranis X9D Scorched Motherboard
Thank you. upon inspection,I couldn't see any damage other than the scorch marks. With Martin Phillips article on OpenTX Version 2.1.9 I reloaded the firmware and a new simple model to the SD card and I was able to regain control of my X9D. After calibration I bound the tx to a D8R-II plus and now I...

Re: Taranis X9D Scorched Motherboard
Finished an inspection of my X9D transmitter with a magnifying glass and to my dismay found nothing really wrong notwithstanding the bits already noted. There were 2 locations were the shine on the solder was missing at the points where the pin ends pass through the board. In the same vein at a few ...

Re: Taranis X9D Scorched Motherboard
thank you Kilrah you clearly have a better handle on the subject than myself, I'm going to remove the bits that have been scorched and solder jumper wires to reconnect the burnt out trace wires. I'll test and if necessary replace the wee bits where the voltage is stepped down. Could someone direct m...

Re: Taranis X9D Scorched Motherboard

Re: Keeping to Topic - A general and non policed rule
Is there a policy on numbered lists, like to explain the steps taken, that result in a problem that requires some help from the group. I notice most if not all of the correspondence is in the wrap around format. This is of course much easier to edit. But for some more difficult to follow. Following ...

Re: Rud switch
I switched models and the transmitter works without any problems that I can detect. On the face of it everything seems normal. A much less complicated mix for a float plane I might add. I'll get at Reinhard's suggestions after I take Franklyn (standard poddle) for a walk. Jim thanks for persisting w...

Re: Rud switch
The only throttle response I'm getting is when the rudder switch is on. Then the motor goes to the wide open position. The bar on the 1st screen in the channel 7 position indicates the rudder switch is off. When rudder switch is on the bar moves 2 mm to the right side of the centre line. Now if the ...

Thank you, by downloading the er9x firmware I was able to correct the problem with the AIL and THR warning lights. I now have a problem with a repetitive beep that is quite annoying. I think I've turned everything that is related to a warning beep off. I going to read the er9x manual again to see if...

I now have the FAS-40, without taking the shrink wrap off it looks identical to the FAS-100. I have the telemetry displaying on the FLD-02 and not to the TGy 9x. There isn't provision to have FAS-40 to work with the osd, (shortage of sockets on the RX and V2 Hub). Can one simply make up a couple of ...

Re: DHT diy, D8R II plus, HUB V2 and Smartiepart,
The connection to the diy module is not different from the plug in module. You will just plug the wire into the 4 pins on the side. You cannot connect the display screen and the telemetrez at the same time, the serial protocol doesn't allow for this. -Gohst Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk 2 Tha...

DHT diy, D8R II plus, HUB V2 and Smartiepart,
I have TGY 9X with a Smartiepart USB board, and the Frsky DHT diy osd system connected to the FLD-02 screen.
