Hm, the module slot MAY carry a second HF-transmitter-module. The Taranis has already an internal FrSky HF-transmitter part built in. For me it may be 'oversized' to bring the antenna of the SECOND HF-module into the transmitter :| So for the first start or anyone who has no needs for a second modul...
