Flaps Up / Down sound from slider
Okay smart people, What's the correct set-up for triggering flaps up / down sounds when using RS as the input, for example RS up = play Flaps up and RS lower than all the way up = play Flaps down (Probably needs a threshold say 25% travel down) I'm assuming this needs a custom switch set-up and Cust...

Re: Burning the Taranis Firmware under linux
Can you help with a linux setup problem, I've installed the latest DFU packages and Libusb as mentioned above, I'm pretty sure that's taking care of, what I can't do is import the models from my Taranis or save the latest firmware anywhere. This is on LinuxMint 15 KDE and the message is :could not s...

Advanced Spoileron /camber mix request
Here we go with a new mix request, I know there are numerous glider templates out there but as far as I'm aware nothing that makes proper use of the taranis sliders. So I have picked up a Reichard Sprinter warmliner ( T tail 3 channel , 2 aileron servos, 1 elevator and throttle) and would like a nif...

Thanks rob, You are a champ, really loving the speedo by the way, great quality construction, I didn't realise you ran Slopeside until I posted here, small world huh. And It wasn't until the day after ordering I saw the speedo electric in RCM&E, looks really nice, maybe next time By the way, you...

Re: My new gliders... Speedo III
Hey Rob,
Weird thing, I've just got my first taste of sloping with a friend and just ordered a Speedo IIX from you!
I don't suppose you have a template for one of your speedo's I can use on my 9X / Taranis when it arrives?

FPV 9X P1 Wiring and charge port diode
I need a bit of help here on two fronts. First of all does anyone have a clear photograph of the wiring to the P1 potentiometer, the reason being I removed mine in favour for a 3 pos switch mod and have now replaced P3 with a six position switch and wish to restore P1. Trouble is I can't remember th...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I'm interested in the 6 Pos switch, maybe more so than the rotary encoder, details please. By the way, Open9x latest seems to inroduce the THR / AIL error again, could be the FrSky / TelemetrEZ dual selecting error, it seemed to download both from my profile but I couldn't select them together, reve...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I have ZTE blade and a nexus 7, with the frsky dashboard app I get Rssi / tssi and a1 + A2 outputs
The better app of the 2 frsky logger crashes when the Bluetooth connects currently which is a shame as it is much easier to configure and provides frskyhub data.
I'll keep working on it

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Finally got around to making the mods for bluetooth via the JY-MCU module I mentioned earlier and I can confirm it works perfectly. To summarise I installed the 1K accross pins 1 & 18 on the AtTiny, fitted a row of pin headers along the unused outputs for later and soldered the 10K resistor inli...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
s-mack,
Any Idea when the guide for internal tx / rx Frsky module connection will be finished on the smartieparts site?
I have some hacking time coming up, I assume the spare pins used only relate to FM module use and so I can make the mod and still swap between FrSky / DSM2 / 9X modules easily?

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Perfect, I'd much prefer to solder to the board than the processor legs, can I suggest you leave a a blank spot with free hole on V2 (Or just build it in)
In fact, If you could add space for the 10k too that would tidy the install up

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Thanks for the wiki, it must have taken some time to write, sadly I still need some clarification Now, I was intending to use a JY-MCU module with RS232 backplane that is 5v tolerant, presumably that would eliminate all or some of the resistor / v reg requirement, can I just connect directly to the ...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Wow gohsthb, you're on a roll!
I'm not so clear on hooking up the bluetooth, do I need to use a logic level converter or frskylite with the telemetrez?
Which pin to which?
Can you link to the wiki page in case I'm looking in the wrong place
