Re: FrSky telemetry Starting to get the hang of it
Yes, big thanks, the menu-hold does set altitude to zero. First few experiments with switches: CSwitch 1 v<ofs Cvlt -40 (telemetry value 1.70v setting actually means 3.40v) + Safety Switch CH10 A SW1 SciFi Works fine - thanks for the example above. Since that worked so well, I thought I'd try audio ...

Re: FrSky telemetry
version is er9x-r780 V1.6636-Mike I think there is a later one @ 174,225 bytes but WHEN I flashed it I got "jumping menus" - highlighted item jumped around by itself, couldn't set items... so I reverted to the previous 175121 bytes fw. "calibrate to 'ground' level by long press 'menu'...

Re: FrSky telemetry
On another FrSKy telemetry matter, I'm using the mods on my 9x, so I see telemetry data in the Tx window. I've got the sensor hub and several sensors, and I see no way to calibrate the T1 and Alt. Is it possible? Right now T1 shows -15C when in fact it is about +15 in the shop. Alt shows 982m when i...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Good news Gohst: GPS does indeed work with the latest TEZ firmware. When I was testing with the original FW it was inside the shop - I was rather surprised it would pick up a good signal inside. So yesterday my test was also inside. No cigar. With the heli outside, however, success. Is there any rea...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
ok, give a day or two: I put everything inside so I need to do a little disassembly just to get to the hub. I'll try just the GPS first.

FrSky hub v2 with several sensors including FrSky GPS. Turnigy 9x with SP & TEZ boards, FrSky DJT module, D8R-II Plus Rx. The GPS was working fine before the firmware change. Got perfect readings even inside the shop.

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I spoke toooo soooon! Installed the latest TEZ firmware to get rid of the delay and enable the RSSI alarm settings. All seemed to go well with the USBASP and the very handy GUI to control the process. It told me.... SUCCESS! Now no delay and RSSI. BUT, now the GPS data doesnt get through... aarrrgh....

Re: Search for Replacement 9x Potentiometers!
Speaking about gimbals, I've been toying with the idea of replacing mine to arrive at a single-stick radio, like the old-time ones. Actually two sticks, but one just for throttle/collective, the other a three-way for AIL ELE and RUD (on rotation). Here's the one I bought, a three axis job that looks...

Hello Gohst, gohsthb wrote:Download the correct file from here.

This file DLs at a mere 8445 bytes but some other previo9us hex were way bigger, like 55,133. Is that correct? The 8445 is the latest to use?
Thanks. and best regards,
peter

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I made a little tool for easy programming of the TelemetrEZ's by the factory. I suppose people could use it for updating.<snip>But some might find it handy. - Steven Just what I was looking for, thanks much! Re: 9x, Frsky, and a Frsky Voltage Sensor
On er9x, the RSSI settings are saved in the Tx module, not in the radio. For this to work, the serial data is sent to the Tx module, as well as the telemetry data coming back. Since you get 0, not even the default of 42 from the module, I suspect your serial data is not getting to the module. I wou...

Re: 9x, Frsky, and a Frsky Voltage Sensor
This is one place the wiki is badly laking. An explanation of how to get the telemetry to work once you installed the hardware. You hit that nail square on the head, gohsthb, I notice that the two telemetry windows don't correspond very well with the eepe tab either! This is actually really simple....

Re: FBLTemp.eepm Hello gohsthb and all, I see I am a bit late getting into this thread, but I am now setting up er9x for a Trex500 clone, FBL with a Helicommand. So far so good, I have the basics finished (mixes, curves, etc.) but am now looking at the Switches and further tabs in eePe. I notice in ...

MODE 3
Hello all, New here, and just received my Turnigy 9x today. I ordered a MODE 1 unit because I require throttle on the right. But actually I fly MODE3, which is exactly stick-opposite to MODE2. My question: best way to modify to MODE 3? Does the er9x software allow for the setting/use of all 4 modes?...
