Re: 3D Printed RC Truck Wheel Rims (CR10 3D Printer)

Hi LutzB, Which PETG filament do you recommend I purchase ? The eSun yellow PETG cost more (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PQD7NJ2/?coliid=I3OHWZ0XCJ2NKL&colid=1S1AH02E3AEZM&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it). and I see Amazon is selling there own band of filament too, "AmazonBasics" (https://www.amazon.com/...

Re: What fimrware in NAZE32 Arco 10DOF ??

I had an old NAZE32 flight controller, mini cc3d in a 250 quad given to me and had the same trouble.
The help I received said to flash the flight controller with LibrePilot firmware.
I did and the 250 quad fly's really great.

Hi Kilrah, I have 3 new rolls of Black eSun ABS which two of them I ordered from Amazon by my own error, I wanted the PLA+. I have purchased the Simplify 3D slicer program which so far I like better then Cura which is a good slicer program. Thank you and pmullen503 for your inputs that I should cons...

Re: 3D Printed RC Truck Wheel Rims (CR10 3D Printer)

Hi pmullen503, Yes, PETG filament is an option to consider trying too. I have only printed with PLA filament so far which is the easiest to 3D print with. I do have some ABS filament and I am considering to try this also. The tires are glued to the rims, so I am looking at how to un-glue them. Thank...

Re: 3D Printed RC Truck Wheel Rims (CR10 3D Printer)

Hi LutzB, Thank you for your suggestions, they are very well thought out suggestions. As you observed, the length of the wheel spindle is designed on the shot side (wish it was longer) causing the thickness of the rim mount material to be very thin. Yes, that is an option to change the design of the...

Re: 3D Printed RC Truck Wheel Rims (CR10 3D Printer)

Hard-testing results using PLA filament. Test area was a large rough field with plenty of room to run full throttle. First, I ran back and forth straight 10 times and then checked the wheel, which looked good. Second test part, I added turning at high speeds which causes more stress to the wheels. O...

Fixing a Bad STL Model File using Netfabb Online Service (CR10 3D Printer)

RC Wheel printed S3D Fast_broke apart.jpg I had problems when trying to print this 1/10 size RC Truck Wheel which I found on Thingiverse: (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2974605). I am using the CR-10 3D Printer, Blue eSun+ PLA filament and Simplify 3D slicer program. The symptoms of my first tw...

Slicer Scripts G-code Line Changes (CR10 3D Printer)

This is for a CR-10 3D Printer with TH3D EZABL, EZOut and EZPi upgrades. Normally when the print job is finished, the print-bed moves to the "Home" X and Y positions. The Y-axis "Home" position is all the way back, so this causes the need to move the Y-axis to a forward position to remove the finish...

Re: Repairing Taranis Plus

I used the CHIP QUIK flux which is how my soldering skills look good. So the CHIP QUIK flux and using a lot of flux helps a lot. I applied solder after placing the chip in place, but the board terminals are tin before. I used the solder gun tip and/or some solder wick to remove to excess solder if n...

FrSky new X9 Lite with a new Access protocol

Can just make a new folder and name it what you want and then make your save/saved/save-as files to there. If you do not know where the file is, you can do a search and in Windows most of the time is saved in "Documents" or the older name was "My Documents". Also look for the date and time when the ...

Does anyone know where we can ask for future features ?
For the quickest new future features to be considered,
would be to use erSky9x firmware on your radio
and make your request to MikeB (9x Developer).
More erSky9x info found here for your radio: (http://www.er9x.com/).

Could be a bad solder connection some where, when the radio heats up, it maybe causing the failure.
