Re: HELP, Adding 3pos switches to 9XR PRO (erSky9x on Taranis)

Hi mclags, You may be better to flash erSky9x on Taranis (is what I am using on my Taranis), as you are more used to using er9x firmware. :) Taranis 9XD " ersky9x for Taranis ": (http://www.er9x.com/) (https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9034#p116982) (https://openrcforums.com/forum/...

Re: Long shot but does anyone have a 9xtreme board FS?

The Ni-MH battery (7.2v) can be pulled down lower before it needs to be re-charged, which I am thinking you would want to maintain over 5 volts when radio is powered on. And with a 3S Lipo 2500mah battery you can charge it up to 12+ volts (new), but you should not go much below 9 volts when radio is...

Re: Long shot but does anyone have a 9xtreme board FS?

Mike good catch to warn about the power plug +/- polarity between the 9x and Taranis radios. I use Lipo batteries with the 9x radios and swap the connector pins in the plug so that the center pin is + Red and the left pin is - Black wire. This pin orientation is the same as what the servo plugs are,...

Re: 9Xtreme being released to the public domain (opensource)

Hi Staggie,
I am also interested in upgrading a Turnigy 9x radio with a 9Xtreme-2 board.
If you are able to have some made, I would like one or two 9Xtreme-2 upgrade boards.

need 2 receivers, 1 in the plane and 1 on the ground connected to a box that controles the energy and motorrun. So they read the throttle channel on the "clone" receiver. I have a G-X8R and a X4R, the X4 should be the control receiver. Hi goos, There are several models of Taranis radios and I norma...

I believe Opentx firmware has not updated to be able to choose which transmitter can do the telemetry.
I believe Opentx locks you into the internal module only can do telemetry.

Re: 2 receivers on the same channels on the Taranis

Another option is to use ERSKY9X on Taranis firmware, which you can use both the internal XJT module and the external module (transmitters) allowing you to choose which transmitter you want to have telemetry still. Each transmitter can be bind to a different receiver (or receivers). Some more info h...

I remember something about that several years ago.
The reduce latency info may be in the manual for the receiver and so maybe not in one of the old XJT manuals.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I have a fully functioning version of ersky9x for the X12. The X12 I have is a prototype that has some hardware differences to the production version, but the firmware has a means to detect the type of hardware and adjust to suit. I had someone with a production version testing everything. I called...

OK 8-) , then I would suggest if you then find that you wanted to use a different external module, then just swap them out using the external module bay. I think the Multimodule may do all that you needed with all the different protocols that it has. So you may be good to go ! :) I do not have the 9...
