Re: er9x development

If Mike is not able to and you do not have the 128 chip, here is where there is an option to upgrade your board with the ATMEGA2561-16AU CPU Chip: (https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=3819&p=74105#p74105). This was a long time ago, but Mike and João will help you through the process....

You do not need two modules to have 16 chans on X series.
Just bind one receiver on 1-8 and another one on 9-16
(just make sure one of the receiver only is bound with telemetry)
3djc
That is correct !

ErSky9x allows you to have more options to choose from.

I believe you may have less troubles if you were to try "erSky9x for Taranis": (http://www.er9x.com/).
I use erSky9x firmware on my Taranis and eepSkye on my PC.

Re: Bind dual FS-IA6B

Hi, you can also purchase some "Y harness 6 inch/Reverser Heavy-Duty" (ERXA325). Horizon hobby (EXPERT Electronics) is where I got them several years ago. This allows you to use one receiver channel for two servos as it reverses one of the servos. Here is some old info that may be helpful : (http://...

I can not remember, but does the Taranis also have a Watch Battery in it (to keep date and time), like the 9XTreme board does ?

If there are 5 unread postings, I probably have to sign in 4 or 5 times to read them.

I believe they are.
I upgraded my Taranis-x9d (using erSky9x firmware) and it made a real difference.
Feels like I have better control over the standard Taranis Gimbals when flying.
