Re: Turnig9X PPM/PCM on OpenTX
If your receiver is similar to the one linked below, it might only work with a dedicated "EDOMODEL" RF module. Not with the turnigy module http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1912558 João Yes, this is (exactly) it ! http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/pnedic/RC/EDOMODEL_T...

Yes ! I tried to match this receiver with turnigy9X transmitter ! And NO success.jhsa wrote: ...
That is the one that has PCM written on it, correct?

Re: Turnig9X PPM/PCM on OpenTX
On the transmitter that came with this receiver (EDOMODEL) is written "Digital proportional R/C System". I do not use this transmitter. If you need picture of this transmitter I'll post it, but now I didn't in order to avoid cunfuse.

Re: Turnig9X PPM/PCM on OpenTX
@jsha Tx has installed the 2.4GHz module with antenna. There is NO old antenna - only one antenna connected to the module. Both Tx and Rx can be seen on link http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8992__Turnigy_9X_9Ch_Transmitter_w_Module_8ch_Receiver_Mode_2_v2_Firmware_.html I hope when you see...

Re: Turnig9X PPM/PCM on OpenTX
A few years ago the 9x radio was sold with a FM antenna on it. You know those old long methatlic antennas. That means you could use one of those FM modules that worked with PPM or PCM. Now the radio ships with a 2.4Ghz module and without antenna. They just never bothered to change the software... T...

Re: Turnig9X PPM/PCM on OpenTX
Kilrah, thanks for reply ! The "other" receiver I have is some chineese receiver got from a RTF model. But transmitter and receiver looks very good and solid (9 chanels !) Brand is "EDOMODEL". On Rx it is written PCM. PCM, as I know, stands for Pulse Code Modulation (PPM=Pulse Po...

Re: Error writing eeprom data - SOLVED
Doctorhelo For more than one year I had this problem: everything has written correctly into Tx (my Turnigy9X), but at the end, see that stupid BAD EEPROM DATA message. The only "solution" was write backup back to the Tx, and forget all programming on OpenTX. All changes then, I made by han...

Turnig9X PPM/PCM on OpenTX
Hi I'm using OpenTX v2.0.17 for programming of my Turnigy9X TX. I know that BEFORE I started to use openTX (or previously Companion9x), there was, in original (factory) firmware, option to change between PPM an PCM. Now, by using mentioned software, I do not see this option. Why ? Or there something...

Re: Setting flaps problem
João, thanks for addition well, I didn't want smooth transition of flaps on moving UP, Intentionally. I just didn't want to add such detail at my first post. I decided also not to slow down when using airbrakes on any side. BUT, I'm gonna think about slowing down when activating them. Anyhow I'll te...

Re: Setting flaps problem
Mixes have a "multiplex" option of "add", "multiply" and "replace". You can achieve what you want by using a mix on the channel (the last one on the channel) with a "replace" multiplex. When on, this mix will replace all the previous mixes. R +20% M...

Re: Setting flaps problem
I made it: airbrakes on CH5 no matter of position of flaps (activated by 3POS switch) ! As all good solutions are the most simple, this is one of them. Here what I've done. Removed addional MIX on CH5 (so there is only one mix on CH5 defined for flaps) Removed MIX on CH7 (I do not need it) In specia...

Re: Setting flaps problem
I do not have --- for Diff, just values. Well I will also try the solution you marked as easiest with offset (didn't read carefully :)). Well, now I tried to apply one more mix: to add option CH5 works as airbrakes. For example when activate GEA(ear) switch, to let "flaps" to go up e.g. 20...

Re: Setting flaps problem
put the 3pos switch onto an unused channel e.g.CH8 use the 3pos switch as source: CH8: 3POS 100% add channel 8 to your flaps channel e.g.ch5 and use slowup/down 3 CH5: +100% CH8 slow down:3 slow up:3 On the servos page set min to -100 neutral to -50 and max to 0 Reinhard Thanks for replay Reinhard....

Re: Setting flaps problem
One of the problems is that you can't use "slow" in more than one mix in the same channel. Also I don't understand why you are using Diff (differential?) but then leave it at zero? Ok, I don't use openTX, I use ER9x, but they are quite similar here. Try the example below: Ch5 100% 3POS Cu...

Setting flaps problem
Hello I want to make flaps that reacts on my 3POS switch. I'm using Turnigy9X and openTX. I set to be them on CH5. I have made actions on ID1 go down -30 and ID2 go down -60. The mix on CH5 are following: for ID1 : Source=MAX, weight=-30, offset=0, Curve=Diff, Flight Modes=all, Switch=ID1, Multiplex...

LED lights control
Hello I'm new with OpenTX and programming on Turnigy9x. I have a model with few led lights. The model had it's own transmitter/receiver and the lights were turned on/off by a switch connected to the CH7. Now I have moved to the Turnigy9x with openTX. After lot of trials, I did not succeed to get con...
