Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
as I suspected. the modules are programmable. I've got a response from emartee webstore :D but now I have to sell the information. please donate to anyone in need (some people have real finance problems. and I'm not greedy :P ) so here it goes: Dear sir It is possible, but it is very difficult , you...

Re: GPS and RTH question
on frsky telemetry you have almost EVERY THING for an OSD/RTH system! Exact... almost! But as there's no straightforward way to add what's missing... so there's little point. introducing voice to the 9x is not straightforward. so there is little point on doing it ? If you like, go the all working a...

Re: GPS and RTH question
please note that I want the OSD system to be on the radio transmitter side... but that is me... probably most users will never even consider it. OSD is the only "thing" we can't do with that board (yet) it has to use a external chip. no worries there. its just an idea for now...

Re: GPS and RTH question
p.s.: the board you suggested has a triple gyro sensor. perfect! it allows for the plane position/attitude
on the other hand, a WI motion plus has the same. it could be cheaper but I really don't think it would be any user friendlier...

Re: GPS and RTH question
Indeed, HK have a MultiWii Pro with GPS module, it's Atmel based and open source, and is just over $60, (link) and has working software for a number of uses already. ... The unit also comes with the cables to connect to USB etc. Hard to see how it's going to be cheaper to produce anything that's mu...

Re: GPS and RTH question
Do we really need one more OSD/RTH? There are dozens, including open source ones that do all that's needed! are you even "listening" to you ? on frsky telemetry you have almost EVERY THING for an OSD/RTH system! and it is fairly cheap! any return to home or On screen display cost an awful...

C Joao: start a thread. this is really interesting topic. ;) will do! just let me gather the information and platform to transport this out to the air. Re: GPS and RTH question
OSD on a FPV system cannot be a iOrange product (or other smart phones) it has to be on screen with the video feed... goggles or screen... RTH has to be on the plane... in case we loose the TX signal... plus, we don't have a 'heading' mark on our frsky GPS... just the coordinates... and I can'r fly ...

Re: GPS and RTH question
but, with frsky telemetry GPS you could have position, altitude, heading, speed... with the vario you could have altitude (again. redundancy is good) with the accelerometer you could have plane angles, with some multi-copter board and a custom firmware you could have all that... you just have to rea...

Hi flaps30. I had a problem like your on my sound module. can you scope around the SD card lines ? my problem was simple. when I removed the SD-card holder (to get it else were) I "lost" the sound module. it seems that the ground line uses the SD-card holder as a jumper... either you have ...

Re: Lipo fire
an old lipo can show some problems and burst in flames. its not hard to get "a old lipo" we abuse them very often... on a RC car, the battery will bump around many times... if we pull to much from a lipo it will overheat and die. (possibly start on fire) one thing I do is a full pair of cy...

I've spent quite allot on "good" batteries and I care to keep them in closed glass jars all times. (one bat on each) my new charger is a Cellpro power lab 6 and it is really good. I do charge lipos in house. on the floor, inside a metal case... sometimes inside a lipo-sack and inside the m...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
the sound module used on the stock board always goes to 0 after the sound ends. therefor, my simple passive circuit cancels out any pop's when using an amp. I did my research and tests so it is there to be used. I'm sure I will. I don't like the internal amp of the module.

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
its been said that the circuit with muting transistors does not suppress the pops and clicks. it should help but the only problem on the "pop's" side, is a half the sound module output DAC being shut-down to 0 when the sound stops. so when it powers up, the capacitor charging does make a &...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
you should have no problems but... it better to find some ferrite beads and install them right out the sound module output. I'm using this not only to have the sound for headphones but to get the internal beeper on the main spk and phones (and finally) getting the radio sound into my (future to be) ...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
the problem is not the spk+ and spk- being differential, I tried to use a differential amp-op on testings but, since it is a 'reactive' (pwm) output, it has noises. maybe some wont ear them cos' any ear or speaker are different. with those 2 capacitors and resistors I got rid of the pop's and pwm no...
