I tried the LiFe battery as is but the regulator output is still a 4.5V

With this new regulator i read 4.50v on the 3.3 pins.

I'm not sure why you get the Bad EEPROM data screen, but other than that, the radio started correctly. This is "normal", i previously flashed it with OpenTX before this test. If you're unsure about the oscillator, maybe i can replace it if it is cheap, i don't take a huge risk i guess ?

Thanks a lot, here are the results: Like you were expecting, some sticks have their min/max values, about a half millimeter before their stop, it's very small, but it's a kind of "dead zone".
So the gain of 2 seems to be the best compromise.

If someone is able to calculate the ADC_CGR/ADC_COR values for a gain of 4 (i'm not ) i will tell what are the resulting ranges for the sticks so we know.
But like you said, i agree that it won't make any noticeable difference for the pilot.
