Hi CatRovacer,
I downloaded the ZIP file so far, not the Segger environment, and I doubt that I will do that during the next few days. Besides that, I'll probably be not much help for someone hwo tries to rewrite a MAKE file for a different compiler package, as I'm an interested amateur only. Sorry.

Re: er9x development
Thanks for your work so far, Kotello. It's most amazing to have ER9x now also available for this hardware, making it really fun to have an FS-i6 system. I'm really looking forward to what will still come. You have Switch E already on your list I have seen, maybe one day also some of the telemetry po...

Re: MULTI_STATUS vs MULTI_TELEMETRY
I had all the same problems with both AFHDS and DSMx telemetry. I could see the protocol names but no telemetry data. AFHDS shows no values at all, DSM gives RSSI only and a fixed RxV value 4.9, makes no difference whether I run it on 4.8 or 6+ V

Lots of now overaged/dead links on the site you mentioned. But what exactly is your problem?

Re: Add 3 pos switches to plain 9x.
You need a solder tip as small or as pointed as these tiny processor legs. And you need thin electronic solder wire, too. Be careful not to get solder between two adjacent pins. It happens easily and then it's rather fiddly to get it out again. I know what I'm talking about in this case.

Thank you, never looked at this before.
You can look up the protocols' numbers on the DIY MPM site. For instance.

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
Hello, my focus is actually 100% on AFHDS only. I don't think I'll ever use the DSM Rx in the next future. For the different MPM configs: -Multi_Status and AFHDS_Hub protocols: DSM and AFHDS deliver RSSI and TSSI, allthough the values greatly differ. DSM has RvX, in this case it's 49 (looks a bit li...

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
Yes. With AFHDS it makes a difference whether the MPM is configured to run Multi_Status or Multi_Telemetry. The first gives values but no protocol names, the second gives the names but no values. The telemetry protocol I took is FRSky. DSM is a bit different. Multi_Status gives values, no protocol n...

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
I get some values when I build the MPM FW with MULTI_STATUS and AFHDS_Hub (FrSky Format). No luck with MULTI_TELEMETRY. DSM and AFHDS behave the same.

I get these informations only with the IA6B, The DSM Rx binds but stays quiet.

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
Hello,
same as before. The module is sending something, but the Tx cannot read what it is. I think it has to do with my MPM, let me first clarify things in this direction. Thanks for your efforts so far.

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
The mentioned DIY vario sends x00,01,02,03,09,41,82,83,84 The relevant signal is sent as x82. All what I can find about AFHDS2 telemetry is either from qba667 (the guy who made the FS I6 my favourite Tx/Rx combo :) ) or is based on his work. Credits go to others probably as well, but this Arduino va...

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
No, no values. I tried an Orange R920x receiver (DSM2 22ms), also no values. If I had to guess I'd say the MPM either can't receive any telemetry data or doesn't transfer it. It's the blue Atmegaboard from Banggood, flashed to the latest firmware. I think I have some links to the AFHDS2 T/M details....

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
It's on Pin2 again now - and I have a hectic counter under 'Debug' and a steady version number beside the 'Range' entry, so this part seems to be working o.k. now. Thank you very much for your patience and the confirmation about pin2. What I still don't have are any values. No voltage etc. I built a...

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
Yes, I've seen this version, too. Somehow the opinions on what is right in this regard differ. I know, that's beyond discussion, it's usually very clearly defined or even hardwired. Oscar Lang's tutorial shows post 5 clearly going to pin 3 on the TX board. Some say this works, others asked him to ch...

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
Checked it now. "#define INVERT_TELEMETRY" was commented out already, now "#define INVERT_TELEMETRY_TX" is commented out as well, still no luck. No firmware version displayed beside "RANGE", the "TelRxCount" number is somewhat changing, but this doesn't look l...

Hello Mike,
Mod done is checked, MULTI_TELEMETRY also.
Pin5 MPM is directly wired to pin3, no inverter, no level shifter.

BTW, should it be possible to explicitly select AFHDS somewhere in the Telemetry menu?
I can only see FrSky, WSHhi, DSMx, ArduP or HbRaw.
Thx

Re: Will AFHDS 2A telemetry work with FrSky telemetry mod?
Hello everyone, I'm Hubert, I'm new here, this is my first question here on this forum. I recently acquired a TG9XR for an Atmega based MPM (V1.2) I had laying around for minimum one year now. The MPM thing works flawlessly, I can bind and fly all what I have. The only problem I have now is that I c...
