The same with a PC. The "divide by zero" message appears again, even after I have removed the extra dividers not in use.

new error messages

Good morning I had been using the OpenXsensor sketch with success from an IMAC. I could upload it on a few devices and they work fine. Unfortunately, my MAC died recently and now I am trying to use the same sketch with a Linux Mint 17.3 system. I get strange error messages which did not appear previ...

Re: Once more : X9D+ flashing problem

Good morning My problem is now solved. It was due to the fact that I did not follow all of the rules which are listed here under, I learned the hard way ! * Each version of OpenTX has ITS version of Companion OpenTX should be installed only with its own Companion * My TX is a X9D+2019 which has a di...

Once more : X9D+ flashing problem

Good day to all. I have a X7 which I could update to 2.2 without any trouble and know a tiny bit of the OpenTX system. Now I just received a brand new X9DPlus which was in english. I wanted to change its FW to french language. With a Linux Mint 17.3, I used a Companion 2.2 (the maximum it accepts) t...

Re: A few issues

Good afternoon Michel Well, four out of five devices work fine as expected. Only one still gives VFAS= 0V and no cels value. I used for it the same config files. I suspect something wrong in the A/D converter in the hardware (chinese clone). For a fast glider it is not important to have the VFAS or ...

Re: A few issues

Thanks again Michel I will have a look at the video My question for 'test' is because in the Basic conf file only some limited possibilities are offered for the use of Test. I was thinking there would be a way to link this 'test' feature to any of the variables or at least some. I saw for the GPS un...

Re: A few issues

Michel, Thanks for the info, I now get 'Cels' = 'VFAS' = VCC. Is it the proper value for 'Cels' ? How do I trim each cell separately ? How do I use the 'Test' command, it is not in the text that it can be used for Cels values... Last, I noticed that the GPS stays in Knots per hour, inspite of tickin...

Re: A few issues

Better ! On 3 of the sets with MS5611 Cels is the sum of the individual Voltages and VFAS is the 1/3 of it. Fine. On one set with BMP 280 Cels is OK but there is no mention of VFAS. BMP seems to drift less than MS5611. The same if I reset the Telemetry on the TX, the same if I cancel all sensors and...

A few issues

Good afternoon all, I have made 5 Alt- Varios with VFAS-Cels monitoring plus one with Neo6 GPS. First thing: out of the 10 pcs I got, 40% of the MS5611 I received where not functionnal, 50% f the GPS (one is working, one was refunded). So anticipate and buy more than needed ! Better use BG rather th...

Re: Zeroing the altimeter and drift compensation ?

By the way, does anyone have an adress which sells 'good' MS5611 and BMP280 ?
Out of 5 pcs I had, 3 where dead on arrival. They came from the Bay.

Would be useful to share

Right, but you did help me a lot.

By the way, the other MS5611 I have is Dead (on arrival), so are two BMP280, one only working, fine. No problem, just change of supplier !

Re: Zeroing the altimeter and drift compensation ?

Could be a hardware issue. It works ok apart from this drift. I will get some other 5611 and compare. The 280 works real good, it will do for the time. Thanks a lot Carbo, your help on this post and others have really been helpful, mainly in understanding what was going on, bringing solutions ! Have...

Yes I use 5611. Also 280 elsewhere.
Thanks for the Telemetry Reset, it worked fine.

Zeroing the altimeter and drift compensation ?

Good morning to all My OpenXsensor works very well except for one slight roblem: the altimeter always starts at -3 meters. I suppose there is a way to zero it but I can't find where this happens or how. Now, the alt measurement always has some slight drift (decreases from -3 m to -4,5m after some mi...

Re: openXsensor slimsize GPS Vario for DLG and F5J

Hi Carbo Well, little success. First, lots of trouble to get the USB Serial CH340 board to work on my Mac (10.9), not working and even crashing the Mac ! So I tried to use another one, with a PL1303. Installation was ok. First remark : on a W7 PC I get compilation errors (division by 0 ) but not on ...

Good morning Carbo
Would you have the hardware connexion schematics ? I think you use custom input ports (2 instead of 4 ? or am I wrong) so a global mapping would be very useful.
Thanks a lot.
