HELP AGAIN s6r
Well, I flashed my s6r and my qx7 no problem. Did the bind procedure no problem. Calibrated s6r no problem. Connected everything up. Channel 3(thr), channel 5(flaps) and channel 6(landing gear) all work fine. However, channel 1(ail), channel 2(ele), and channel 4(rud) do nothing. Tried known good se...

Re: can't bind s6r with new fw
OK, now I understand. I have updated tx to 2.1.0 but updated my rx to 2.0.1. If I understand you right they must be the same version. There is no 2.1.0 for the sxr. So do I have to flash my tx back to 2.0.1 to match the rx? I didn't realize the numbers were different sequence.

can't bind s6r with new fw
Ok, I updated to Otx 2.3.5 and firmware for my QX7 to 2.3.5. I updated my s6r to 2.1. Now I can't get it to bind. Maybe I'm not doing the procedure correctly. I put my tx in bind mode (1-16 and 1-8 tel.) Hold the bind button while plugging in power. Green light comes on and a quick red flash, unplug...

software and firmware updates
Hello, I haven't been around for almost a year and I am behind on updates. I currently have OpenTX Companion 2.2.4.
Also my Taranis QX7 firmware is OpenTX-x7-en-2.2.3.bin.
Should I update them and if so to what?
I will then flash the latest firmware to my S6R's once I have updated these.

Re: Question on switches
So if I use a 3 position switch but only want to use it as a 2 position switch such as SA(up) -100 do I set SA(down) to 100 or 0 and should I replace middle position SA- to !SA 0 or is it not necessary?

Question on switches
When setting up a switch in OpenTX your choices are all the normal switches like SA, SB so on but I also find !SA, !SB. My question is what is the ! exclamation mark for? Is it a combination?

Quick question on S6R lua script
I just have a quick question. I have already reflashed the firmware and calibrated the S6R using the lua script on my SD card. What I want to know is what the other lua script is for. The SD card has the calibration script where you flip the module on each of it's surfaces. Then there is another scr...

HELP! Flashing Firmware on S6R using QX7
I recently purchased 2 new US version S6R's. I was told (on RC Groups) to update the firmware first. I have connected a standard servo cable (female both ends) to the smart port connector (new style) on the bottom of my QX7 (configuration black, red, yellow) and to the smart port on the S6R (observi...

Failsafe Programming
I know you can program lots of different things with Lua, but I have not yet learned the language. I was wondering if there was a way to program a Failsafe that will do something like this? Rudder right turn for 10 seconds then straighten out while gradually lowering throttle speed. If there is no w...

No throttle
I am a Newbie. I have a new Tower Hobbies Hellcat. I have a new Taranis QX7. I have a new FrSky X8R receiver. I have done the bind procedure after setting everything up. My Elevator control works, my Ailerons work, and my Rudder works, but not the Throttle. Does anyone have any ideas?
