X8R receiver's won't bind to Horus X12s transmitter.
Need help. I'm not able to get 2 X8R receiver's to bind to my open X12S transmitter. I've had my transmitter firmware updated and have updated my newer receiver Pro series with new firmware and have no problem. I've updated firmware in the X8R receiver's also but I can't get them to bind with my tra...

Not sure where I should ask this question. I have a two receiver set up in my IMAC plane. I flew it a couple weeks ago testing out my new transmitter program and all went well. Tried to fly it today and my radio alarm went off with RSSI low. Did a rang test and it sounds off again when I walk about ...

Re: Differential in elevator set-up
Mike,
I redid what you suggested and figured it out. I have it working the way I think it should. Everything tracks together also. I have my final rates also. Know I just need to work on my ailerons and rudder next.
I'm sure I'll have more questions.
Thanks again. Heliperry

I tried what you suggested and it worked on the right elevator that I wasn't able to get my Differential to work originally. But It wouldn't work on the left side so I left it the way it was.

Pmullen503, You were right about a machanical issue. I had on of my elevator control rods longer than the other. I fixed that issue.π Reset elevator servo's center's. I have checked the machanical setup on the elevators and everything seems to be correct. I am going to check everything out again to double check things.

Re: Differential in elevator set-up
Ok, so if I put my rates in the input side for dual rates to get differential should I use differential % on the mix page? Another question. To get my elevator servos to track the same should I use a curve to get them to follow the stick movement the same. I put the rates on the mix page it kinda wo...

Mike, after thinking more about your salutation it is more for programing high and low rates isn't it not programming differential?

Re: Differential in elevator set-up
Mike, the Aero works Extra 260 shows for throughs on low rates 12 degrees up and 16 degree down and high rates 18 degrees up and 24 degree down. This is why I'm trying to program Differential on the elevator. So to the answer to your question is yes I'm trying to get a high and low rate on the eleva...

Yes they move but they move equal distance. I'm running two elevator servos one o channel 3 and one on channel 7 . I'm trying to get differential on low rates to high rates. I've used mixes with no progress. I'm just stumped! Hope this helps. If not contact me again.

Ok, I'm really struggling on how to program Differential in my X12S open tx. I've been trying to get my IMAC plane programming done and I'm frustrated. Well I think I figured it out on the failsafe. Once I looked at the transmitter I started understanding what I was seeing. Thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll have more questions later but right now I'm good.
Thanks again.

I figured out the 2receiver bind last night thanks. Ok on the failsafe mode do you have both receiverd on at same time and set bind button for less than a second. Matching dual elevator
Ok, I'm stumped. I'm trying to match my dual elevator movement while setting up my throws. They match at 0, +100, -100% but when I reduce my throws per plane manual they won't track the same. I'm running open tx in a Horus X12S. I've got one left servo on channel 3 and right on channel 10. I'm runni...

That's what I was thinking also. At least with this dual receiver setup I can have half of the airplane on each receiver and if one fails I should be able to land the plane safely.

Re: Failsafe test
Mike, I tried what you suggested. It did go to failsafe. But what I'm trying to decide is what is the advantage of running an RB-20 redundancy over just running the 2 Receiver's directly to batteries bypassing the RB-20. Any input on this?

Re: Failsafe test
Mike, Ill give that a try.
Being I'm still in the testing mode before it goes into my plane I'll see if that will work. I'm not sure if I changed receiver numbers when I bound two together in my initial test, I'll have to check it out.

Input page in a Horus x12s tx
I know this is probably a dumb question, but I'm going to ask. When you open the program page in the transmitter, the input page comes up with your basic controls. Question is on the Input page do you need to have the same number of inputs as you have on the mix page? Say you make more mixes for dif...
