Re: SBUS Servo Configuration Protocol

Thanks Dean! Sadly, the first document has nothing to do with the SBUS-called serial protocol in the RC world. Anyway, the second is useful. But my problem is not SBUS at all - I'm using SBUS since long time. I like to know how the servo programming works, because this must be an enrichment to the o...

SBUS Servo Configuration Protocol

Hi all, SBUS-servos can be configured, e.g. to listen to a specific SBUS-Channel, or other parameters. In the SBUS-descriptions I've seen so far, I'm not aware of a specification for this kind of information. I like to build my own SBUS-servo-programmer, but I can't find any info on this. Thanks, Wi...

Re: Control TX via Smartphone over BT / USB

Do you know the pinout of the trainer jack? Is there 3,3V / 5V supply available?

Is it possible to use the USB-Port zu supply SBUS as a trainer input?

Thank you,
Wilhelm

Serial protocol for TX-Modul (instead of ppm)

Hi all, I am looing for information about the serial protocol that is used to communicate with the TX-module, e.g the PascalLanger Multiprotocoll-TX-Module 1) Is there any documentation about the protocol beside from the sources? 2) Does the TX-Module switch atomatically from ppm to serial mode (if ...

Re: Control OpenTX via BT / USB

Thank you very much! Just for curiosity: the SBUS stream is defined to 100000Bd and 7ms intervals. Is the another serial input interface where on can specify the Baud-Rate and disable the constant rate of 7ms? This would be an ideal interface for e.g. BT connections receiving values from an smartpho...

Re: Control OpenTX via BT / USB

Just discovered an old thread on SBUS-trainer input for the ersky9x. I read that the opentx also implemented this possibility. If so, it must be possible to use the trainer jack with SBUS-Input to all 16 channels. And that would be all I'm looking for. Well, to use Bluetooth, I have to code some BT/...

Re: ersky9x on Jumper T12

Well ok, that did the trick! Now I could flash the T12. I could bind with afhds2a protocol to a flysky fs-ia10b receiver. Controls are working. Then I tried to setup telemetry, but in the telemtry menu I am missing the flysky as a user protocol. So i don't get telemetry data. Did overlook something?...

Re: ersky9x on Jumper T12

Then the T12 doesn't start all: the backlight off the display is on, but without slpash. Releasing the power button after some secs and the t12 gets off immediately.

Re: ersky9x on Jumper T12

Well, I tried to use eepskye to flash the jumper T12, but without luck: I can read the installed firmware but I can't write the new one. The only message I get is a dialog "Operation failed". I tried on Windows 10 and 7, VirtualBox as well as native. Then I tried eepsky on linux, but I have a amd64 ...

Re: Control TX via Smartphone over BT / USB

Many thanks Mike for this valuable information. How strikt is the SBUS implementation in ersky9x? Do I need to obey the 14ms / 7ms pause-intervals or can there be longer intervals before it detects a lost connection and switches back to cppm? Is it an normal or inverted serial signal on the trainer ...

Re: Control TX via Smartphone over BT / USB

Ok, that sounds very good! So, to get it right: I can simply provide an 57500Bd/SBUS signal on the trainer jack, which is the 3,5mm jack on the top side? Or do you mean the USB connector, as the eepskye ist connected this way? Does is automatically switch from CPPM trainer input to SBUS? How are the...

Control TX via Smartphone over BT / USB

Hi all, because I'm new to ersky9x, I have some (dumb) questions. My goal is to control some functions of the TX via an app on Android over BT or USB. This may be of interest for someone who wants to control ships/trucks etc. I absolutely don't want to use an analog CPPM-trainer interface. I was dir...

Re: Controlling the TX via USB/BT by Smartphone

I want to use it on a Jumper T12. So, yes, I'd better asked in the ersky9x forum, surely. I do not fully understand the relationship between er9x and ersky9x. My guess was, that the ersky9x fork resembes all the features of the er9x? The Jumper T12 doesn't have a butiltin BT interface. For me it wou...

Mmh, ok, thanks!

Are there any other sources of information?

The user-manual looks also a bit outdated (2015).

Control OpenTX via BT / USB

Hi all,

is it possible, to control some / all functions of OpenTX by some external device e.g. via USB/serial from PC or via BT/serial from smartphone?

Thanks for all hints,

Wilhelm
