Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Hey, good news.. well done, wonderful.. I haven't messed with this again since I wrote the first post. I have only one radio with stock board and it has an arduvoice inside.. But I have no reason to open it as it is working well.. :) I know that this voice module can be problematic sometimes. I spe...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Wait a second, why did your radio say "Radio battery low"? Was the battery empty? Have you set an alarm for the radio battery? What firmware do you have installed on the radio?? João Er9x pr822 (test version of 128 bit proc) Some teething issues need to fix :D Have connected a 12v charger...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
The required fuses are described in the "instructions.pdf" file on Github for the amod. 1. The '128 is running at 5V. What voltage is your promini running on? If 5V, with a level converter to the SD card, then these connections are OK. 2. OK, but make sure the fuses don't then try to star...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Rather naive questions but is it a possibility that 1 connect the pin 27 of atmega128 to D1 of promini & pin 28 of atmega128 to D0 of promini - no diode in between 2 Burn only the finalserial16 hex to the promini not install the optibootloader something like https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewto...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
It's been some time since I did anything with this, and I've only ever used the Megasound board, not the Arduvoice build, and I run at 12MHz. When you put the optiboot bootloader on, are you changing the fuses to set the boot size to the smaller size? Mike Yes please I have set the fuses to low_fus...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
er9x uses 38400 baud to communicate to the serial voice module. Thought So Do you have the module connected to the radio when trying to upload the firmware at 38400? I flashed your document.eepe file onto my radio. This is what I did to get the voice running with your Eeprom setup: Power on the radio in maintenance mode, that is, power on with left horizontal trim left (and released) . You will shortly see a message of "Hardware menu enabled" In Radio...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Hi do not intend to connect a ftdi adaptor ever can i bypass the diode D1 between D0 and pin 28 of the processor and connect the wire directly to D0(RX) pin of the processor. Why am suspecting the diode because sd card or module could have issue but atleast trims should work. If need will ever arise...

Re: Flash M128 Turnigy 9x
Friend
You need to first burn fuses if you have changed processor.
Then write the firmware, the option you are mentioning is different green chip.
Ignore the usbasp firmware error
Ping me if you need further assistance.

Re: er9x development
Ok, your choice.. :) The extra RAM of the m2561 is really welcome as it allows for features not possible on the m128. Er9x supports way more extra hardware than opentx, which only supports a parallel voice module as far as I know. Also, development for this board seems to have stopped. Er9x continu...

You could have upgraded to the m2561 instead. It has the double of the RAM as well. I believe it also has a couple more pins that can be used for extra switches.. Hi Mike and others, Firstly thanks for this wonderful work. My aim is to club features spread over er9x and opentx ( if allowed to say here) Ultimate output 1 support for cheap 1306 and 1106 display i2c and spi version (er9x supports spi but not i2c, OpenAVRc supports oled), even 7920 2 Support for ...
