Re: FrSky RF protocol hacking
Ideally I'd see an alternative firmware... by the looks of it it wouldn't be a very hard task. Keep a few things, but with more flexibility. No dependence on them releasing their upgrades, and... no need to understand their silly frame format  +1 for that!! I have to stop dreaming about th...
Re: PXX work
Hm, yes. PXX on the transmitter-side and S-Bus on the receiver on a spare Pin could also be very nice. 16 Channels for all those Multirotor-Controller out there
Re: PXX work
PPM-Sum on the new D4FR-II with 16 Channels would be awesome. Killer for all those Multirotor-flyers, like mejhsa wrote:wouldn't we need 2 receivers for thr 16 channels? or for that would we have to use PPM Sum?

Re: Bugs in Open9x?
You could add a blinking star in the top bar, just like in the gv9x-version?

Re: PXX work
Where can I get the Upgrade lite? for the Receiver you can use a plain FTDI-Module (from an Ardunio for example). You have to invert the TX and RX lines to get it working. I have done this with the MProg-Tool from FTDI. The transmitter accept plain RS232. I have wired up pin 2, 3 and 5 from the DB9...

Re: New in ER9x and eePe
Does anybody got this working? I flashed my D8R-II und DJT-Module with the provided firmware but cant get it working with PXX in er9x.
If i change back to PPM in er9x, the receiver works as before..
Is there a special bind-routine for the new Firmware?

Re: Antenna placement.
Thats my solution: IMG_1870.JPG IMG_1869.JPG IMG_1866.JPG Its a self-crimped Pigtail with a R-SMA 90° Connector and a RP-TNC-Connector for the main antenna. Im using the Antenna of a Linksys-Router for this. :) I drilled a hole in the bottom of the FRSky-Module and turned the connector in the module...
