Re: RE: Re: What Rx should I get?
I believe you mean S.PORT, not SBUS? S.PORT, S.BUS, F/STOP, I'm still confusing terms. I'll get the hang of it with your help! You can download the FrSky manuals Thanks, Bob. I've got the relevant ones in PDF on my phone for when I'm "dropping the kids of at the pool". ;) By the way, it’s...

Re: Newcomer to Taranis and OpenTX. How do I set up Trainer?
Wow, I feel like a dunce. I didn't know how to reach the radio set-up page.
I got it to work just fine, although it scrambled the channel order for some reason. I'll test it tomorrow and see if any problems arise.

Newcomer to Taranis and OpenTX. How do I set up Trainer?
My friends need help flying, and I'm their IP. When my old Dx6i had some pots die, I decided to move to FrSky instead of fix it. They can't afford new radios, I can't afford old radios. I also haven't been able to figure out how to set up Trainer binding like we used to do with the old Spektrum boxe...

Re: What Rx should I get?
It depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. Your current setup using a Spektrum module in a Taranis X7 is perfectly viable but limited to 6 channels and 1024 resolution. I’m guessing it’s a DSM2 module, so moving up to DSMX or FrSky would gain you a more robust protocol, which seems to be your ...

Re: What Rx should I get?
I am a rather skilled pilot, I've flown in video game simulators since I was six and I've had no trouble translating that practice into RC. I'm just terrified of crashing my newest, most expensive plane. I was wondering about your thoughts on telemetry modules? I know next to nothing about FrSky thi...

What Rx should I get?
I'm new to both RC and Taranis and I've recently made some mistakes. I got an EFlite Mustang from HH for Xmas and I accidentally plugged in my 4s battery (visually identical to my 3s batteries) when trying to set up the radio. It browned out my receiver, an Ar636a. I was wondering which receiver to ...

Re: Can I get a hand over here?
Right, well I've gotten one plane to work - sort of. It's the EFlite T-28, and I got all the channels to respond appropriately, thanks to your help, but the elevator channel had some weird behavior. Instead of moving the whole range it only moved between pitch-neutral and pitch-up, and it was as if ...

Re: Can I get a hand over here?
Oh, okay. Mixing channels was pretty confusing and I ended up making duplicate channels, so I'll have to figure that out. I got the Grey's RC Q X7 user's manual, but Mix didn't stand out to me as where the channels were determined. I already had Mode 3, but thanks for checking (did you try turning i...

Can I get a hand over here?
Here's a video that shows my problem. I'm pretty new to FrSky and OpenRC stuff, so I don't really know what I'm doing to begin with. I've checked the forums to answer my own question, but I can't find anything similar! Is there anyone who can help me out?
Thanks for the help!
