Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?
Thanks João I got rid of the hot glue that was in the holes. I was wondering how he added the metal standoffs? I'm guessing he cut the old ones off and screwed the new ones on the back and added some epoxy then maybe used some rubber bands around both to hold it until the epoxy dried? Metal standoff...

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?
Hello there, For the metal standoffs did you just cut the old ones out and epoxy in the metal type? I'd like to get rid of the stripped out plastic ones in mine but not sure the best way to do it. I tried filling them with hot glue and drilling them out a bit but the screws wont hold still. Cleaning...

LOL remember to remove the propellers lol.
That was funny João
I am thinking about selling 2 of my modded 9X's but keeping a 3rd and getting a Taranis QX7
It doesn't look like a bad radio for $105ish from HobbyKing

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
See the schematic on the first post. The extra switches/Buttons can be connected between pins D7 and D8 of the arduino and Ground. João João Since the M64 version has no hardware menu how do you add Ext1 or Ext2 to Aileron or Elevator to make a 3 position switch? I have added two 3 way switches on ...

Re: er9xProv822j and Aileron Switch inop it stays greay out
João,
In the process of fixing the aileron switch issue, I added 2 more wires on EXT1& Ext2 on the ArduVoice module.
Now I have 2 more three-way switches lol.
Not sure what I'm going to use them for yet but I have them lol.
Thank you,
Joe

Re: er9xProv822j and Aileron Switch inop it stays greay out
IMG_20181009_184040.jpg I think I found it after an hour of removing hot glue very carefully. I pretty sure one of the telemetry mod wires came loose. I circled it in red in the attached photo. Its possible the addition of the sound card caused it but not 100%. I had to replace that 200 ohm resisto...

I will work on getting a photo later tonight, I'm at work at the moment.
I will try the plain FW without the Mod in it and see if the switch still gives me an issue.

Re: er9xProv822j and Aileron Switch inop it stays greay out
Hi Mike, I looked in DiaSwtch and the Aileron switch didn't change it stood highlighted. I looked in the radio and didn't notice anything out of place. This started after I flashed the newest 822j firmware, coincidence maybe. I’m guessing it has something to do with the way my radio is wired. I chec...

er9xProv822j and Aileron Switch inop it stays greay out
Hi Mike, I flashed my 9X to the newest version of er9xProv822j w/ m128 After flashing the radio the Aileron switch doesn't work it stays greyed out. I went into the hardware menu and it says None for the first 4 switches so I'm guessing its disabled am I wrong? I did not wire the Aileron as a 3 way ...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Is the SD card removed from arduvoice board in order to write new models and voice files or is it written using the arduvoice board? tolisn, You can load the card itself before inserting it in the card reader and you close the radio up. After you close the radio up you can over-right the sound file...

Re: er9x V2 = mbtx
To try to make it clear you are flashing V2, all V2 files are called mbtx, not er9x. ER9xPro822j.zip is the "latest" er9x V1. For V2, go to the first post of this thread and download (currently) mbtx5.zip. Then just flash the to appropriate file@ mbtx-2561.hex if you have a '2561 processo...

Re: er9x V2 = mbtx
The straightforward update is to ER9xPro822j.zip. If you go to the V2 version you will need to also install eepeV2, then read and save the EEPROM from your existing radios. Then you update the firmware to mbtx (er9xV2) and allow the EEPROM to be formatted. FInally read the EEPROM from the radio int...

Re: er9x V2 = mbtx
Hi Mike,
I have two 128 Radios and a 64 Radio.
The two 128's are running:
Version: V1.748-Mike
Date: 30:11:2016
Time: 13:41:21
SVN: er9x-r820
I think the 64 is running the serial Version.
I'm confused should I update the radios to your er9xV2 mbtx5.zip or ER9xPro822j.zip ?

No, you don't see the voice files.. You can send voice files to the card though.. But please note that if they have the same file names as another files on the SD Card, they will replace them. João ok got it Joao Thank you for all the help, I appreciate it. I should have done all 3 radios over last...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Ok so I made up 2 quick models.
I booted the radio in Bootloader mode, the serial adapter is connected to laptop and using eepe 421 version I can see the models I just created.
I don't see any sounds however.
Is there something else I need to do Joao?
Thanks

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Ok, it seems there is a bug in Er9x, at least for the m2561. The latest test version has a bootloader. If I put the radio in Bootloader mode, it won't stay, it falls back to the firmware after a few seconds.. This prevents communication between eepe and the voice module.. If i am quick enough I can...
