Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Thank you Mike, that's a nice option to have. And I do have a few vintage planes! Excellent suggestion João, Vts would be more specific indeed. But, would it confuse people that selected Vtg in the past? Anyhow, thank you kindly for chiming in.

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Hello all, After installing ErskyTx R222 (06.03.2020, thanks Mike) on my TGY9X/AR9X/XJT, I noticed a CrossTrim setting called Vtg. (Found in Radio Setup/Controls/CrossTrim, other CrossTrim settings are OFF and ON.) I tried finding what Vtg would do when enabled, but sadly my searches came up empty. ...

Re: Max altitude

Thank you for your comments Mike. Being able to rename Cus1 through Cus6 is yet another lovely feature in erskyTx. I had found it a while ago and then forgot all about it... Regarding switch state detection: but of course, silly me! I shall repent by reading, and memorizing, your script.pdf document...

Re: Max altitude

Having recently acquired a FrSky High Precision Vario... Here is another way to display the max altitude from the variometer telemetry data. This uses a model background script to keep track of the highest altitude seen so far. Just a few lines of script code will do the job: altitude = getvalue( &q...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Hi Mike, Thank you very much, it appears that "f6" fixed the date problem that I saw on my TGY 9X with AR9x main board. The year field in the 2nd line of the Date-Time screen is indeed rock steady now. I'll verify the fix on my other AR9x board later today; fully expect the same result. Th...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I see the same "flickering year" problem on my (two) AR9x boards with attached DS3231 RTC modules. These clock modules run off the 3.3V supply voltage. I have seen this with R220, R221c8, and R221f5. At first I thought that this was just a display problem, without further ramifications. Ho...
