Hi All, A new sub section has been created to start servicing mixes; templates and programing better. http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=34 You can access this section direct of the home page. Doing this will help keep all the 'developer chat' and the 'programming' threads a little more s...

Stock Firmware - For Flashing

Just incase you want to go back to the original firmware after trying one of the new ones.

To reload this on the radio you will first need to flash the radio with the .hex file, and them right after with the .eep file.

Re: template repository

Hello,

A repository does not exist at this stage on a model by model basis.

I do have plans to build a section in on these forums that will enable something like this - but that is a little while away!

Re: Custom Spray

Couple of questions: (1) Has anyone located a tool to undo the nuts on the switches? (2) It seems to be a slow process (including rubbing down which I loath doing) doing all of this. Has anyone tried Vinyl Dye. I gather that this is far better and hard wearing when compared to standard paint proces...

Forum Sub Sections - Feedback required

Hi All, I am in the process of looking into how we can 'clean up' the forum structure. One area that jumps out is the mixes and programming side of things. Currently, there are threads that run in the firmware sub sections of the site. e.g. FIRMWARE \ ER9X \ MIXES AND PROGRAMMING My feeling is that ...

Screen shots of the new companion9x

If we have one guy from each project, it will not be so hard! At least we can try ... We are a lot from gruvin9x, one from th9x, who wants to take care of er9x part (2 files: er9xeeprom.cxx and er9xeeprom.h)? He will be a commiter of the project and we work all together! Bertrand. What about the XM...

Nice! I love the fact that you can work with any firmware. Just what we need.

Will of course be hard to keep it current!

Lol We all have our weak points and strong points. I am amazed at how you manage to work out the hardware interfacing stuff - yet find classes easy! to make your life easy - just use this wrapper function audioDefevent(uint8_t e); e.g. audioDefevent(AUDIO_WARNING1); That should do the trick! Once yo...

I thought of one other thing that might be useful - getting the beeper to go off when in range check mode, and perhaps some text on the screen? Nothing too obnoxious as far as the beeper, just the occasional short beep to remind you. Pat MacKenzie That should be easy to do :). Just a call to the au...

What is gv9x?

GV9x is a fork of er9x for use with a Ardupilot Mavlink stack.

Details of this firmware are on the google link below:

http://code.google.com/p/gv9x/

At the moment this fork is little known - but will no doubt be well serviced on this thread!
