Re: ERSKY9X Coding

:))) now, I don't feel so bad not being able to remember! Yes, it is old, but this club-mate refuses to move off it because he's a very nervous flyer and deathly afraid of moving to anything new and unknown (to him). I'm working on him to let me change it, but once I touch it, I'll have to 'own' it ...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Hi Mike, Simple question, but I cannot remember the answer :( In a club-mate's 9XRPro with Ersky9x r212, his Tx internal battery level display needs to be re-set to the correct value, as measured on the battery with a DVM. I cannot remember where to do that and didn't find it in a few searches aroun...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I'm interested because I use an XJT in a 9XR-Pro and also the built-in XJT in a QX7, so 'normalizing' things would be a good 'plus' for me :) :)

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Ah, ok, understood now on all questions I posed for GPS - many thanks. And, on the GVAR value - I had tried to press-and-hold, but obviously for (just) not quite enough time - more patience and a longer 'hold' now shows me what I need - GV1 et al. in the Weight field, etc. Brilliant, so it seems tha...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

You may set a GVAR source to P3 (or any pot), then use that GVAR as the weight and/or offset in a mix, but you may not need a GVAR. Yes, I can see how to set a pot to the source of a GVAR and I can see how to use a GVAR as the Source in a Mix, but how do you directly select the GVAR as the weight a...

Thanks, João - looked at a couple (plus a few from others) but found neither inspiration nor solution :( Look at the link under all my posts. Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Mike or João or Daedalus66 or other qualified user, Is there any way to use a pot as the setting for a weight/offset or as a multiplier (instead of as the source) in a mix? I would like to try to take a percentage (selected by a pot while in flight) of the Thr stick and add that to other mixes for s...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Mike (or any knowledgeable user willing to answer), Typically I've used the FrSky Vario when I've wanted to work with altitude telemetry reporting in gliders (and FLVSS for voltage), but I've had a couple of new FrSky GPS (V2) lying around for about 12 months unused, so recently decided to try one i...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Mike, Have now further tested the 'uSec' and '0.1%' change to set-up the XVERT VTOL -- it works EXACTLY as required - the motor-kill, which requires a very exact uSec setting, now works as required and the same as using the plane with it's original Spektrum Tx, except that I am using 9XRPro, ErSky9x...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

On a topic that is related (for me) - in trying to implement a setup recommended by another (Open-TX) user of the XVERT, an offered scenario for implementing motor-kill requires an over-ride of (exactly, not more than nor less than) 980uSec or it will not work properly (it is claimed and seems corre...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Re: eepSKYe

Hi Mike, Just FYI and for the future: Another 'little problem' in eepSkye -- in a channel mix, if you have a Delay Down of (say) 1.5 seconds and no Delay Up (i.e. 0.0), when you display the Mix tab on the screen, the 0.0 and the 1.5 are shown correctly as Delay(u0.0:d1.5), but when you invoke the Pr...

Yes, the print function is lagging behind, it all takes time to do everything and that ends up being forgotten.

The release r422 on www.er9x.com is a .exe file.

The 4th Jan version is only for the Taranis Plus. P3 is a "spare" analog input, and wasn't working correctly, that test version just fixed the problem to allow it to work.
You may use a pot as a 6-pos switch, just run the calibration on it.
