Yaw gimbal (LH) fluctuating

This behaviour is not reproducible all the time, but seems to be happening more often now. Originally, I thought it was a calibration issue, but now I think it is a hardware issue. My yaw values (LH) are jumping around when I release the left stick . The throtle values (LV) are rock steady (mode 2)....

Given the display looks the same whatever format is in use, I've added a label above the values to indicate the format in use. I could change the default, only by changing the setting in Radio Setup/General when the general settings are created, but this won't help existing users. Mike. This reques...

Re: Hall sensor gimbals for the 9xr pro?

I have a 9XR Gimbal and the M9 Gimbal. Eyeballing the 9XR and M9 Gimbals with Digital Caliper, the dimensions are different between them. Note: Eyeballing measurements may not be accurate. M7: 62.0mm X 62.0mm / 48.4mm / 42.9mm X 54.0mm M9: 62.1mm X 62.1mm / 48.1mm / 54.5mm X 54.5mm 9XR: 56.7mm X 54...

I wonder if the M7 Gimbals would be a better fit for the 9XR-Pro radios ? :?: (http://alofthobbies.com/m7-hall-effect-gimbal.html) Could be the only difference from the M9 Gimbals may be the wiring for the Qx7. Bob B. Here is the dimension drawing for the M7 gimbals (courtesy of Aloft). image.jpeg

But I am issuing a challenge for the scalar gurus -- you know who you are! ;) Can it be done with only 1 alert?

A puzzle for the scalar scholars:
Can this be achieved using scalars and voice alerts? Or will it require the enhanced logic of a script?

1. I think I have a fix for this, I need to store the battery capacity as it is only being sent, it seems, when disarmed. 2. I'm not processing the 5005 message, I'll need to check the exact format to be able to decode it. 3. I'm adding Hdg to the available logged values, and, hopefully, this will ...

Re: Ardupilot protocol choices for frsky telemetry

There is some support for "passthrough" telemetry in ersky9x. It is possible, much of the support on openTx is done by using a LUA script, since the "passthrough" telemetry data is available to that. I've just got some limited LUA function into ersky9x, and, in time, more suppor...

In my opinion, if Mike finds something lighter and/or better than LUA that runs on the current stock processors, this would be the way to go.. Not everybody will upgrade the processors on their radios. Most of the people can't do it.. There will be always someone that will write / adapt scripts for...

Check the first pic. The timer display (Tim1) is "dd:dd", so there is space.

Re: Ersky9x Feature Requests

In my case, I use a Frsky FLVSS voltage sensor (directly attached to balance lead) which sends the total of all cells and is therefore accurate to 2 decimal places since there is no divider involved. Same for the individual cells, since the sensor reads the exact voltages via the balance lead. This ...

Re: T-Cut Mixer templates not added to mix

I ended up doing the same as you did. The issue with the current menu structure is that it is necessary to define actions for a switch in 2 completely different menu pages to get a) the mix action (Safety Switch) and b) play the chosen voice file (Voice). It would be a better user experience IMO if ...
