Re: R9 mini and X8R for redundancy

Thanks Kilrah for your precious help. In the meantime I bought another rx8r and another r9mm but I can't find a way to bind the new r9mm. I tried changing firmware on both the receiver and the module, tried even the flex firmware but to no avail. Green and red leds remain solid, on the other r9mm re...

Re: Horus x10s and Horus x12 IXJT firmware

Thanks Kilrah for your fast answer! To be honest I noticed right after opening this thread that the x10s module is called ixjt+, so I realized my mistake, sorry.
Is it possible to know what are the latest versions of module firmware for both the radios?

R9 mini and X8R for redundancy

I managed to connect with success a R9 mini to an RX8R to use the redundancy option and it seems to work great. I followed this tutorial and connected the SBUS out of the R9mini to "RX IN" in the RX8R and eveything works amazing. I had a friend of mine turn off the integrated module of my ...

Horus x10s and Horus x12 IXJT firmware

Hi everybody, my flying buddy just bought a brand new x10s so I took some time and upgraded both his x10s and my x12 to latest stable FrOS to update the ixjt firmware (just in case). Then I did put Opentx 2.2.3 on both. Strangely they show a completely different ixjt version in the information page....

Re: Migrating models sky9x -> taranis and taranis -> horus

I was afraid this was the answer.... This way we can't use the older radio as backup. Isn't there the possibility to add this to companion? It already makes some sort of conversion, it would be nice to let the user choose how to handle it. What if I compile companion on linux? I wouldn't like going ...

Migrating models sky9x -> taranis and taranis -> horus

Hi everybody, maybe it's been discussed already but I couldn't find anything. I'm migrating my models from a sky9x board to a taranis plus and I found no way to assign switches during conversion. For example I'd like that in every model "gear up" from the sky9x is "switch G up" o...

Looking for old version of companion9x (prior to 1.20)

Hi Everybody, I'm looking for some old versions of companion 9x prior to v1.20 as I'm trying to export some models and the oldest version I have (v1.20) gave me problems with timres and special functions. Any help would me much appreciated. Maybe you have some old files laying around and it's just w...

Re: Antennatracking with opentx

This would be definitely great! I was gonna ask for this too. I'd like to have a camera recording my whole flight and a mechanical pan tilt like the one used for antenna tracking would be perfect. Could we use the bluetooth streaming too? That way no channels would be needed but an external unit tha...

Having your radio act as a Caller...is it possible?

As the title says I'd like to know if I could program the radio to tell me which is the next maneuver I have to do in a f3a (pattern) program. For example it would be great if I could hit the trainer button at the end of a maneuver and let the radio tell me which is the next one. This involves a cou...

playing the value when p1 is changed

I have a glider where p1 is set to change the value of ail->rud mix given that I'm still setting the plane up and don't know what is the best value. I'd like the radio to play the value of p1 when I change it. I tried to set ch32 to have p1 as input with a 3 seconds delay, a custom switch cs1 is on ...

Playing a song (ersky9x board)

Would it be possible to play a song from sd? Of course I would make it a lower quality wav as the other sounds are but would it slow down processor speed and so the overall performance of the radio? As far as I know only the t14mz can play music so it would be great. Even for "marketing". ...

If read works on your card, it's ok, you are at the same point than me, no need to solder anything. Write will depend on the SD. On my Tx the format doesn't work (block 0 never written), but models backup / restore is ok (rarely ko, but it happens, in these situations the model is wrong on SD but i...
