Re: openTx is moving to github!

The more I look to github the more I find it confusing, including email notifications not specifying what was modified if companion or opentx
I really don't like it at all.

Re: openTx is moving to github!

I'm not happy at all we got rid of SVN especially for companion9x, also for the merging in the same repository...
What to say.... ah yes....

Re: Build instructions for OpenTX

are you building it with the launchpad arm gcc? Maybe give me the preferred build line and I'll try to match you with the launchpad 4.7.4 environment I've been building with one you offered prior... make PCB=TARANIS EXT=FRSKY SDCARD=YES PPM_CENTER_ADJUSTABLE=YES FLIGHT_MODES=YES AUTOSWITCH=YES PPM_...

Re: Build instructions for OpenTX

4.7.3 (home compiled) increases size a little compared to 4.7.2
4.7.2 opentx.bin=187604
4.7.3 opentx.bin=188172

but still doesn't add 30k+

Re: Build instructions for OpenTX

I compiled the toolchain by myself, and I'm on gcc 4.7.2 with newlib 1.20.0
I also noticed the huge difference passing from yagarto to launchpad...
For this reason I continue compiling by myself keeping the same size.
I tested also 4.7.3 compiled by myself and i got the same exact size.

Re: New openTX features

So now I'm more confused... originally you said $350 from rackspace.com, and that buys you 8G of ram (and other stuff)... That same capability and *lots* more is available on linodes for half the price. I would *strongly suggest* that your *try out a cloud service* before you say they won't work or...

Re: New openTX features

Have you looked at linode.com? I host a number of project there and you have full control of what you want to install, etc... The real requirement is knowing how much *download* bandwidth you need on a monthly basis? on linodes, you can install any toolchain you want... I know because I do that exa...

I tried to download the different configuration for my 9xr m128 and got a can't check for updates and the download of the firmware failed. After donating $50 I am not a happy camper. Re: New openTX features

Looking to this page http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/servers/ a server like our one costs about 350$ per month, too much and not so cost effective. We arranged our one as is practically impossible to find a cheap hosting server with avrgcc and armgcc installed on. Again we are open to any sustainable...

Re: New openTX features

As probably most of you know i did setup the compilation server. Re: Wireless Trainer Connection on Taranis.

I will suggest to consideri also the new frsky Delta 8 receiver: it outputs composite PPM too and allows to use as pupil a wide range of radios (futaba fhss, hitec and any radio with frsky module) If I'm not wrong, delta 8 receivers can be powered up to 16V making completely useless an external powe...

and do a "make simu PCB=TARANIS" in the src dir.
Then launch ./simu

Re: Will FW update lose my model settings?

Nice attitude:
Hobbyking get a open surce software, breaks gpl license altering it and not releasing new sources, furthermore making settings unreadable to any pc software (eepe and companion), and you blame companion ?
Please continue donating to HK buying their radios.
