Re: 9x replacment board difference
The best and probably cheapest idea to remove the old chip is to use a 75W GU10 halogen lamp, ~1 minute and the chip is out :D You need a socket, cable and some kind of stand (I made it from an insulated bent wire) to place the lamp ~10-15mm above the PCB. Plus a liquid flux and sunglasses. The idea...

Re: Jumper T12 OpenTX 12ch Radio with JP4-in-1 Multi-protocol RF Module
Maybe it's only the current firmware limit.
And what's the main CPU inside the transmitter? STM32F1.., F2.., F4.. or ?

Re: New radio for OpenTX
I think it will be more like the Taranis QX7S, but smaller.
Small transmitter - the case is almost the same like in Jumper T8SG v2 Plus (back is different and should have JR module bay) and similar components inside.
At least this is what we may know for today

Re: New radio for OpenTX
If anyone is wondering, what radio it is, it's probably a new Jumper T8OT transmitter.
Previous versions (T8SG) uses DeviationTX firmware and has a STM32F103RCT6 processor.
