If you want to make something small just for the trims, you can use something similar to this:

Re: Did I erase my radio/chip? Or just fry a regulator?
If you have somebody that repairs mobile phones nearby, he will be able to rework and solder a new CPU for you.
With the right equipment it is not that complicated.
Good luck,
Miguel

if your 5v line is working, and you have a (well) regulated power supply, try to feed the 3.3v line with it and see what happens.

Re: Switch feedback and power wiring issues in 9XR-P case mod project
I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. As far as I understand, you are capable of using the switch on the old Futaba radio to power the Pro board, and everything seems to work. So far, so good. Also you want to have a functional analog voltmeter, (for cosmetic reasons?) that works when...

Re: 9XR-Pro LCD screen extension cable and other info needed!
Nothing fancy, just a wooden tray radio, mainly because I prefer long sticks and cannot fly with my thumbs. In relation with the lack of love in your thread, I am afraid that 9XR-Pro has been discontinued for too long, but also Rc diy in general does not seem to spark a lot of interest lately. (just...

Re: 9XR-Pro LCD screen extension cable and other info needed!
My own homemade tray radio also has the brains of a 9XR-Pro, with a multi-protocol module and improved gimbals and speaker. I kept the original LCD, and also had to use a ribbon cable. Very happy with the results. I have been blessed with a horrible memory, but I remember that the connection was str...

Nice upgrade on a classical radio. I love it. I suppose you are familiar with this schematics: If not it can be very helpful. See the post sent by SkyNoth with the atachements. (edited to change non working link) : https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=10946&hilit=schematic#p1...

Hi Mike, and all,
Knowing that you have a lot on your plate with new developments, this is intended to be just a remainder on this matter.
If you find the time and motivation to advance on this matter, great. In any case, thanks for your job on this firmware.
Best,
Miguel

It´s working now. And it was before.
I was trying to select curves on the tick box instead of the "Curve 10" box. My fault, sorry for the noise.

Re: eepSKYe
Something is wrong on my side. (Win7 64 bits) I have uninstalled eepe and eepesky, clean directory, reinstalled using er9x.com installation rev 422 feb 18,2018, (is this the latest stable release?) and the problem with the editing of curves is there. Those are shown as 9 point, but editing can only ...
Re: eepSKYe
forgot to mention, the graphic shows "Editing curve 1", independent of the selected curve(s).

Hi,
Thanks Mike for your work.
found that nine point curves are presented and edited (stored ?) as five point. That is also true for the previous release.

Hi, Just for me to understand, if you make a big mistake pushing the switch at the wrong moment, will it revert to "normal" if you push again (hands off the sticks) ? If this is the case, my vote goes for 100% correction, and my recommendation will be to follow jhsa's in getting rid of thi...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting
HI,
Found a couple of lines missing at the right and bottom of the edit curve screen.
Version is 222 19.05.2019 and radio is 9XR.Pro but on a different box, with the inverted screen option checked, so maybe it is only just my radio.

Miguel

Hi,
pins are diam 1.5mm and 8.0mm long, measured with a caliper.
You can replace with 1.5mm piano wire if you have some lying around.

Re: Improve Vario on ersky9x/er9x
Hi, I am resurrecting this thread because I think ersky9x deserves better vario tones. Not sure if other users or Mike agree with that. :D Opentx generates tones very much inspired (I think) by this paper, http://www.wstech.de (go to Variometerkunde). (In German) See here: github issue #670 and here...

Re: Throttle scaling/limit
Food for thought in every mixer line. Thanks for the class.
I also never thought about the non linearity of asymmetric dual rates and limits. Anyway, maybe not that noticeable for a throttle channel.(?).

Re: Throttle scaling/limit
If you use a switch, Dual rates is all you need.
Configure one side of the chosen switch from -100 to +100 and the other from -100 to +80. Done.

Probably too obvious but, have you tried to (carefully) disconnected and reinsert the flat wire that connects the LCD ?

Yes, that is what I use.
Works perfect, except on the bootloader screen. The "problem" only appears if my eeprom is exported and read by a stock 9xr-pro.
Perfect for inverted flight.

I recorded a short video to show what I am talking about; This is the Lemon receiver with "d4" test release in 9XR-pro with Vspd (no scalers) as a source for vario and 0.250s selected. Sounds confusing to my ears. Choosing 1s filter helps with peace of mind, because there are not so many c...

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x
Thank you Mike, The longer filters clearly improve the stability around zero. Even with that, the correlation of sound and movement when moving the receiver by hand does not seem (to me) very good. I will try to make a video. No time yet to try the new firmware on a plane. Minor problem of "d4&...
