Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

HI,

Found a couple of lines missing at the right and bottom of the edit curve screen.

Version is 222 19.05.2019 and radio is 9XR.Pro but on a different box, with the inverted screen option checked, so maybe it is only just my radio.

Best,
Miguel

Re: 9XR Pro trim buttons repair

Hi,
pins are diam 1.5mm and 8.0mm long, measured with a caliper.

You can replace with 1.5mm piano wire if you have some lying around.

Re: Improve Vario on ersky9x/er9x

Hi, I am resurrecting this thread because I think ersky9x deserves better vario tones. Not sure if other users or Mike agree with that. :D Opentx generates tones very much inspired (I think) by this paper, http://www.wstech.de (go to Variometerkunde). (In German) See here: github issue #670 and here...

Re: Throttle scaling/limit

Food for thought in every mixer line. Thanks for the class.

I also never thought about the non linearity of asymmetric dual rates and limits. Anyway, maybe not that noticeable for a throttle channel.(?).

Add the MULTIPY mix to the e.g. throttle channel = channel 3
CH3 100% Thr
* 50% P1 Fix Offset 50 NoTrim !! Multiply

According to the position of P1 your CH3 output will be limited between 0 an 100%

Reinhard
I'm afraid this will not allow to get to -100 to cut throttle.

Re: Throttle scaling/limit

If you use a switch, Dual rates is all you need.

Configure one side of the chosen switch from -100 to +100 and the other from -100 to +80. Done.

Probably too obvious but, have you tried to (carefully) disconnected and reinsert the flat wire that connects the LCD ?

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

Yes, that is what I use.

Works perfect, except on the bootloader screen. The "problem" only appears if my eeprom is exported and read by a stock 9xr-pro.

Perfect for inverted flight. :D

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

After several days of flying with the Lemon vario, I have come up to the following setup, that is working for me. If you want to use it as a starting point, this is how: (if you do, your comments will be appreciated) Use ersky9x Version ersky9xProvR222d4 , dated 25-Feb-2019 or newer, found here: htt...

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

I recorded a short video to show what I am talking about; This is the Lemon receiver with "d4" test release in 9XR-pro with Vspd (no scalers) as a source for vario and 0.250s selected. Sounds confusing to my ears. Choosing 1s filter helps with peace of mind, because there are not so many chirps all ...

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

Thank you Mike, The longer filters clearly improve the stability around zero. Even with that, the correlation of sound and movement when moving the receiver by hand does not seem (to me) very good. I will try to make a video. No time yet to try the new firmware on a plane. Minor problem of "d4". I h...

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

Hi, Is it normal that nothing is heard if the Vario source value is less than 26 ? Let me check if I understand this: Vario source can vary from +1024 to -1024. +256 - 256 seems like a reasonable input for Vario source, since the increase of number or beeps per second stops at a value of 200, even i...

Hi, Since the Lemon Telemetry instructions points to this thread, and I have added some confusion , I want to clarify that setting up telemetry (in my case LM0052) with ersky9x is straightforward if you follow some simple rules; Use at least the release "ersky9xProvR222d3" found on this thread...

Re: Telemetry settings

Hi guys, don't get me wrong. Please note that I am new to telemetry, and I was just surprised that nobody had raised the issue with the Vspd units, that where displayed as Vspd/10. That also made vario beeps quite strange, unless a scaler (Vspdx10) was used. That is solved now. Thanks again. In rela...

Re: Telemetry settings

Telemetry protocol is now stored and displayed, thank you Mike. Sorry I did...

Telemetry settings

Hi, this thread is a continuation of a discussion in the Lemon Telemetry thread, since it is not Lemon related. I think. I have been trying to nail the problem that I find with eepskye (Version 423, Aug 14 2018) that refuses to show telemetry protocols other then Frsky Auto or WingShadow How High. N...

Hi Mike, thanks again,

ticking the "DSM 'A' as RSSI" option on the telemetry menu did the trick. It shows a full bar and 100% Rx when close enough.

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

Hi, Thanks Mike for the R222d3 release. Vario numbers are now consistent. Max RSSI for this receiver is 31 in close proximity. Is there anyway to show the RX bar as 100% when this value is 31?. I understand that a scaler can be used to show the Rx RSSI number in a custom screen, but I do not know no...

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

Just to illustrate what I was trying to say, in relation with scalers and units, I have set up three scalers with source on variable Temp (T1=), because Vspd is a variable that has some noise and changes very fast, making photos of the display unclear. All three scalers have been set up with x1 mult...

Re: Lemon Telemetry with ErSky9x

I have set up a scaler SC2 with elevator stick as the source, divided by 5, no destination, no decimal places. Vario source is set to SC2(in fact it is set to SC2 name "ele"), volume is set at 23, and ele (SC2) is added to the custom telemetry screen. On the telemetry screen, SC2 varies when the ele...
