Re: Is anyone still DIYing Radios?
I've just released r227. This just fixes a small bug where if you have several mixes on one channel, all using HALF or FULL as source and REPLACE as the multiplex, only the last mix worked. Mike In fact I found that bug in one of my models yesterday. I thought my radio was glitchy for some reason. ...

Re: Is anyone still DIYing Radios?
Oh, even when I don't write too much, I come here quite often and I always check if there is a new ersky version to download. Not that I need it, but for some reason I like updating the thing. Joao, yeah, you can open that thread, but I am an absolute rookie. I managed to get that custom Fuzz Factor...

Are you still around guys?   Uops, I have just seen this post. Yeah, I am still here. I come weekly for checking if there is a newer ersky test version, lol. I still use my 9xtreme as my main one-rules-all radio, and I see no reason for getting a newer one, but like you, I h...

Re: ErskyTx Test Versions
Hello Mike, I have downloaded the latest eepesky version and I have flashed the r224 20.01.2024 9xt version on my 9xtreme radio. It might just me, but since I did it, all the previous models I have programed dont work propperly anymore. I do not have time to deep check it because I am leaving in 5 m...

Re: Adjust or trim FasV
Hey guys! As Mr. Kilrah pointed, there was an error in the code. I corrected it with a friend's help, and now it works as expected.
Of course it is always great to be able to trim it with Ersky, but it is better if it works good from factory.
Yet again, thanks for your help, Mike!

Adjust or trim FasV
Hi, I am not sure if it is possible to do it, but I have an isue with the battery telemetry. The FasV is like 2 volts too high and I wonder if it is possible to trim or to adjust it, somehow. I am using the Axel's DIY multi sensor and X8R receiver. Oh! And by the way, I discovered that this sensor i...

Re: ErskyTx Test Versions
What telemetry protocol are you using? FrSky, for example, doesn't provide the Num Sats data. Mike That explains it, Mike. I am using an original Frsky X8R receiver, with an IrangeX multiprotocol module. The sensors I am using is this DIY one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGjC14UOOXs Thank you a...

Re: ErskyTx Test Versions
Hi, non important question, just curiosity:
I flashed the last Ersky test version for checking the new Num Sats function, and, even when I do get the GPS coordenates, the num sat is always 0.
Is it a bug in the software or might it be related with my telemetry multi sensor?

Re: New gimbals for old 9x
Mechanically, I don't know if they will fit. Hall sensor gimbals have usually one of two types of output, analog or PWM. Electrically, the gimbals connect to analog inputs on the 9Xtreme board. The particular inputs used cannot be set up for PWM signals as they cannot be configured as timer inputs,...

New gimbals for old 9x
Hello friends, I have seen those Radiomasters are gaining a lot of popularity, but still I don't see a reason for replacing my old but trusty 9x. For example, those 4 push buttons at the back is a function I cannot live without, lol. But the thing is, I have seen some of those radiomasters come with...

Re: Need some guidance with telemetry.
Guys, it is done, now everything works. A friend of mine checked the code and found something regarding the BMP280 sensor.
He saw it, fixed it and everything works as expected.
Anyway, I can thank you enough for everything, Mike.

Re: Need some guidance with telemetry.
Hi Mike, so far I installed everything that can be seen in the video. I expect to see GPS coordinates, two temperatures, voltage and altimeter/barometer, but the most important are the GPS coordinates, unfortunately so far, nothing is working. I attached some pics of the first prototype so far. I wo...

Re: Need some guidance with telemetry.
Discover sensors is only for openTx. Is this an openX sensor you have built or the one from the YouTube video? In erskyTx, if you go to ModelSetup|Telemetry|logging, there is a tick at the right of the screen beside any telemetry item that is being received. Some items (like Tx battery and GVARS) a...

Re: Need some guidance with telemetry.
Hi guys, quick update here. I managed to assemble a first prototype of that multi telemetry sensor, but so far I cannot make it work. I don't know if it is a problem of the sensor I did, or something in the configuration. So far I have no experience with telemetry. I took a look at the manual and si...

Re: Need some guidance with telemetry.
Correct for the X8R and GPS sensor. I found the voltage/current/temperature sensor here: https://www.t9hobbysport.com/frsky-fas100-adv . I believe it is fairly new, I had not seen it before. I don't know if the sound and display will work. Mike Hi Mike, while looking for those parts as cheap as pos...

Re: Need some guidance with telemetry.
I use FrSky telemetry, mainly SPort (Smart Port). These "daisy chain" together. There is a sensor that will give battery pack voltage and current, together with two temperature sensors, and a GPS sensor that provides position, course and speed. Mike Jesus, yes, I mean "Daisy chain&qu...

Need some guidance with telemetry.
Hello guys, I am in the early stages of building my first RC Boat, a tug. This time I want to do something new, something that I have never done before, and that is telemetry. I have been googling and youtubing but I have loads of info, but I feel most of it might be outdated. I mean, I have seen a ...

Re: Add push buttons to the 9XR Pro.
Perfect, 2 push switches are better than none.
I opened my 9x radio one trillion times, but the 9xr pro only once like 6 years ago. Is something written in the PCB or is there something I have to look for?
I guess positive will go to the board and negative somewhere else.

Add push buttons to the 9XR Pro.
Hi guys, I need to upgrade this radio a little bit. So far I replaced a potentiometer with a 6 position switch, and I also replaced AIL, RUD, ELE and GEA with three position switches. I wonder if it is possible to fit 4 push buttons at the back of the radio like some of us did with the 9xtreme. Than...
