Re: Push buttons / Encoder

I don't remember doing it, must have been quite a while ago :) Butnit shouldn't be too difficult. For the first 6: L1 AND 6P1 !ELE (note the"!" before ELE) L2 AND 6P2 !ELE (it means ELE switch OFF.) L3 AND 6P3 !ELE. and so on.... for the 6 positions. For the next 6 positions: L7 AND 6P1 ELE L8 AND ...

Re: Push buttons / Encoder

My son managed to delete my model in the radio, and for the life of me I cannot make this work again. Hi Rad, You are using erSkyTx firmware (http://www.er9x.com/), so you could use eepSkye to save a copy of all your model programs on your computer. You also can use eepSkye to edit or create each o...

Re: Push buttons / Encoder

You could use a 2 position switch and the 6 position switch together. With the 2 position OFF, you would have 1 to 6 on the 6 position. With the 2 position switch ON, you would have 7 to 12.. You need to use logical switches to detect all the 12 positions, and then use them in the mixer.. João Hi J...

Re: Looking for a 12ch receiver.

Thanks for your tips, guys.
Creating my own receivers seems to be hard but I will give it a try at some point.
I think meanwhile I will get one of those 12 orange receivers, and if it does not work I will try something else.

But thanks to all of you for your help!

Re: Looking for a 12ch receiver.

Hy, why not this combination use 2 Receiver with the same Rx number one bind to Ch1-Ch8 with Telemetrie second bind to Ch9-ch16 with No Telemetrie How do you do that? If I bind two receivers to a module, the moth receivers do the same. I have two multiprotocol modules in the radio if it helps. Do I...

Re: Looking for a 12ch receiver.

Well, if it helps I must say I love the DIY a lot. Proof of it is my radio, that has I think all the mods that Joao did, and some more. I am super proud of it! And this forum and er9x-erskytx has been the main pilar of my hobby. I would be lost without it. Joao If you create more of your receivers p...

jhsa tends to consider that everyone wants everything as cheap as possible and isn't counting their time, and that they actually want to DIY anything that can be DIY... perfectly fine to buy the various commercial offerings. Re: Looking for a 12ch receiver.

That one would probably work. I say would because I never used it. :) But you could probably build your own cheaper if you can do a bit of soldering, and program a little arduino board. Looking for a 12ch receiver.

Hi guys, I dont know if this is the correct subforum. Please if not, move it to the adequate forum. The thing is I am looking for a 12ch receiver, it has to work with my 9xtreme with the multiprotocol module. I am taking a look and I am lost with so many brands. And ah! It should not be SBUS. Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

Small update. I did the battery packs with the protected cells. I had problems making those battery packs, because it was absolutelly not possible to solder in the positive of the cells. Negative was fine, but possitive not possible. Not even when sanding, not even with solder flux... Just a no go. ...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

I suggest you try adding a resistor in the positive supply lead to the switch. Any value up to 5K should be OK, although I'd go for 1K to 2K if possible. You will very likely need to re-calibrate the switch. I have an idea for a firmware change that should, at least, restore the screen to your sett...

Hi Mike I am experiencing the same glitch for quite a long time, with 9xtreme, and a 6 position switch. 18650 Batteries in the 9XR Pro

Hi guys, I am swaping my LIPO batteries to 18650s, and I wonder if it is possible to fit them in the 9XR Pro.

Would the radio work with just 2? And the most important part, can I just plug them in the radio? And in which pins? I am very afraid of reverse polarity problems.

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

Lol, yes, that should not be a problem. If I were flying Id keep using the Lipos for sure, but it is not the case. I am too afraid of crashing for flying. I use only ground and slow vehicles; tanks. So the battery last long. For example with a 5.000 ish battery I have, it lasts for 5-6 hours of non ...

Well, they have a hard metal case around them, but if mis-treated they can also explode. Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

Hi guys, after seeing a lot of videos of lipos exploding, and having two lipos puffed, I am beginning to be scared. I am planning to install some 18650 batterys. Are the Lion batteries safe? Or do I better stick with nimh?
Any link with a trustable source of batteries?

Thanks!
