Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

On the plus side, it does still give the "still powered" warning when the RX is powered and RSSI is non-zero :)

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Yes, 9XR-PRO. RSSI being reported is 0.

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Confirmed that 222c5 fixes the crossfiresend() issue.

Though now it gives me an "RX was still powered" warning when powering down while the crossfire module isn't connected to any receiver, just FYI :)

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

And now there's a mostly-working crossfire script at https://github.com/nrw505/ersky9x-crossfire-script

Note - only does enough to change power settings and enter binding mode on the Micro TX module so far

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

I've been working on getting Hertz's crossfire script extended, and I've finally discovered that sending a packet with crossfiresend() in basic usually doesn't send what's asked for over the wire. e.g. transmitBuffer[0] = deviceIds[deviceIndex] transmitBuffer[1] = DEVICE_ID_RADIO_TX transmitBuffer[2...

Re: er9x development

I don't, but I'm sure I can hack something together.

I shall have a poke around and see what I can trace through to.

Re: er9x development

No change I'm afraid. I've also changed the optimisation CFLAGS from -Os to -O0 in case the wdt_reset was getting optimised out somewhere, but again no change.

Re: er9x development

Please try a test. Start the radio in "maintenance mode" (horizontal trims held apart at power on), and see whether the radio keeps rebooting. Mike. Radio boots fine in maintenance mode. Exiting maintenance mode results in the firmware loading as usual, with the same rebooting behaviour - i.e. spla...

What compiler (and version) are you using?

Mike.
I am using arm-none-eabi-gcc 5.1.0 and arm-none-eabi-binutils 2.23.1

Thanks

Re: er9x development

Thanks Mike! That's got me to having the splash screen and the startup switch position check working, but as soon as I put all my switches in order and the throttle to zero, it looks like it's resetting over and over (screen flashes and speaker clicks), but the transmitter module seems to stay power...

Re: er9x development

Hi Mike, Probably a stupid question, but I can't figure it out: I'm trying to compile a clone of https://github.com/MikeBland/mbtx and while it seems to compile fine, I get a blank LCD on boot. I'm using "make REVX=1" to build for a 9XR PRO When I install the .bin from ersky9xr_rom.zip on http://ope...
