Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

SystemFolder.PNG Yep, I heard the sounds. I checked for SF17,18 and 19....they are not dependent on SHdwn. I did check SHdwn for rssi reading. But not for timer. What I wanted you to check was if you had the SYSTEM folder and its sounds. Assuming you are using English as a language (your country is...

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

I only tested for rssi = 75 and 40 and Cell = 3.3 and 3.56. All played fine in the simulator using the telemetry simulator. Are you sound files up todate? You said you changed filenames to 6 characters or less. If you only mean the extra audio sounds you have added fine. But the while SD for 2.2 sho...

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

Nice collection of models;-) Did you read Kilrah's post. He knows more about OpenTx than I do ... by a lot! That being said, I can't see an obvious error in your setup. Can you play values of any of SF17:SF21 ? Do they play in either Companion or on the transmitter? Post your .otx and let me try, if...

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

R8X should be great.
In the SF there should be something like
SF Shdwn Play Value TeleX:RSSI.
You need to make sure the X in TeleX matches what is on the telemetry page.
So just go to the SF for ShDwn and look at the pull down menu associated with the parameter matches the Telemetry page for X.

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

Is RSSI showing up under the sensor list?

If it is did you re-enter the special function(SF) for Play Value RSSI? If you used the old SF, it may not be picking up RSSI in the same place in the table it expected it to be.

If not what receiver are you using?

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

You have to do it on the transmitter with the receiver and all sensors you want to see bound and powered on. Short press MENU, then PAGE to the telemetry screen, then scroll down to 'Discover new sensors, ENTER that when it is highlighted. Wait a while to make sure all your sensors show up. If no s...

Re: Sounds do not play in model editor

The most common problem is not having the path to the clone of the SD card that contains the sounds set correctly. Of course this implies you have an exact clone of the transmitters SD card on your PC.

Re: Initial setup of companion 2.2.0

2.2.0 may be suspect. Initially FrSky shipped a version that was not really ready according to the developers. The developers then release an approved version 2.2.0. So it is confusing. If you are new, I would suggest going with the latest released version which is 2.2.2. Get the released version fr...

Re: SBUS Servo Configuration Protocol

It seems to me the connection between a servo channel changer and a servo or SBus to PWM will have to be reversed engineered. I do have a FrSky Servo Channel Changer, but have not got around to building a sniffer to record traffic between it and a servo. Supposedly the FrSkY SBus is an implementatio...

Re: Scale the resultant signal of all other mix signals, resultant signal changing sign

Use a curve on each mix on the channel. The curve would be 0 at -100 and 100 at 100.
Or use an offset of 100 and a weight of 100.

I assume you mean two batteries in serial. How do you have the balance plugs connected?
Do you have two sensors setup, one for each battery?
If so, they need to have two different ids.

Re: logical switch setup for disabling a switch

Changing the 1rst line to replace in a mix has no effect over just using the standard add. If the replace conditions are met it replaces all lines prior to it. Because it appears that you did not use SB and SC in Inputs, you have limited how you can use the condition field where you now are using SB...

Re: logical switch setup for disabling a switch

penfred Obviously you use OpenTxCompanion which should make this easier. My guess is I5 and I7 are something like "MAX Weight(+100%). Is this correct? First, Rates are best done in inputs. Otherwise slow (and delay) gets confused. Secondly, Flaps and Airbrakes. I set my planes flaps so a weight is -...

Re: taranis x9dplus parking sensor

To my knowledge the Ultrasonic sensor requires something to trigger a sound pulse, measure time until the echo comes back and that determines the distance from the echo source. I can't see how that would be done without at least an ATtiny. Then the microprocessor would need to send SPort to the rece...

Fred this does not sound impossible. But the definition of 'in use' is not defined. Many people use up for off. I use up for higher/more , Mid for lower/less and down for OFF. (Its the way it was in the bad old days when we debugged computer programs using switches for each position of a computer 's...

Re: Servo will only travel one way

The calibration data is stored in the .otx you on your transmitter(tx). When you create a new model in a new .otx in companion it has no calibration data but the default values ...which are never right for your tx. To get calibration data you need to read the .otx from your tx after you have calibra...

I don't think that making it is part of either OpenTx or FrOs for the Horus X12.

Perhaps you will want to explain better what you want to do and what firmware is in your X12.
