Re: Default Warnings - 9XRPro + Ersky9xr + FrSky

Thanks Mike. To confirm the 'in built' alarms seem to map to the following locations: Telemetry lost - Automatic (no setting required) BlueTooth connection lost - Automatic (no setting required) Inactivity alarm - Radio Setup > Alarms > Inactivity alarm Tx battery low - Radio Setup > Alarms > Batter...

Re: Default Warnings - 9XRPro + Ersky9xr + FrSky

Latest FW 218

I guess I was looking for a baseline from which to work on setting custom voice alarms.

Don't want to re-invent the wheel and wanted to delineate between radio wide alarms vs per model alarm settings..

I will research further and attempt to answer my own :?:

Default Warnings - 9XRPro + Ersky9xr + FrSky

Apologies if this has been asked/answered elsewhere, I could not find it. I would like to clarify what default warnings are issued by the radio/firmware out of the box (so to speak) so that I know what voice alerts I need to manually configure. I know I could test this myself, but, as an example, it...

Re: eepskye on MAC

I also use samba every day and can't afford to have any issues.

So, my experience is anecdotal, but issues appear to be include permissions and performance.

I probably need to bite the bullet and test on another machine in my environment and see for myself.

Re: eepskye on MAC

I actually do have Xcode (3.2.6) installed, so that's not an issue. Perhaps I will have a crack at compiling it... (Are there any instructions available) The issue that I have/had with later versions of OSX is primarily with SMB/Samba performance, which, I was waiting and hoping would be fixed, but ...

Awesome... I backed it up today and was able to load it up on a windows machine and verify that everything was, as configured in the radio.

Thanks Again Mike.

Re: Saving settings before firmware update.

Is it possible to force a eeprom backup directly from the Radio ? I am on an older mac and do not have the ability to run eepskye to connect to the radio at the moment, so I am doing the SD card shuffle to update FW and backup models etc. I noticed that the SD Card now contains an eeprom folder with...

Re: Turnigy 9xr Pro, XJT, X4R begginer questions

Thanks Mike... Worked perfectly. FWIW I had read about the required voltage divider adjustment, but for some reason, thought that I would/should at least see some value in RxV, that would indicate that the telemetry was was working before adding the voltage divider adjustment. The fact is RxV showed...

Re: Voice Packs for Ersky9x

A couple of simple suggestions for future versions of the voice pack. 1. Add a copy of flaps_1.wav as flaps_3.wav in the user folder - which will allow the correct indication of return to flap position 1 from position 2 on a 3 position switch when using BOTH 2. Add a new voice file to the user folde...

Re: Turnigy 9xr Pro, XJT, X4R begginer questions

Of course... Ding...

Any ideas on why the RxV does not seem to display anything.

From what I read (in the manual) FrSky X8R receivers only have only one analog input, "A1", which is connected internally to measure the voltage of the receiver power supply.

Re: eepskye on MAC

I have looked but can't find ANY version of eepskye that works on snow-leopard. Can you suggest where I might find an older compatible version ? Lots of people still use snow-leopard (Many issues with later versions of osx) Do you know what stops the build working for older osx versions ? Is it just...

Re: Turnigy 9xr Pro, XJT, X4R begginer questions

Hi All, New here, looking for a little help. Spent a couple of days browsing around but can't find answers to a couple of questions. I have a 9XR Pro running ersky9xr_rom_r218 with FrSky XJT/X8R + smartport Voltage sensor. I initially purchased and configured using external cable via futaba port. I ...

Thanks Mike...

Perhaps that Mac maintainer could also advise which minimum version of OSX is required.

Re: eepSKYe

Mike, I have tried each version back as far as eepskye.dmg r399. (Mar 26, 2014) I can't find anything older.... None of them work on 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) From the look of the info.plist files the last one was compiled under OSX 10.9 Is there any reason that it cannot be compiled to run on older ver...
