The DACis my alternative method as I am using low pass filter now.
Thanks again for your response.

Re: Convert PWM to Voltage for RSSI
Rob, I may have to do this to get ensure a smooth output and more elegance. Can you show a diagram of how they are connected ? I have these SparkFun I2C DAC Breakout - MCP4725 https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12918 , I think I can use this without nano, but I need to feed in a clock signal. 1) Any ...

Thanks Kilrah, were looking for advice on gitter.im also...:-) The flipping of the stick is working, make the changes and customize firmware work now. ( Not sure why it didnt work yesterday ). Re: Reversing Aileron Stick After Taranis Gimbal Upgrade
Thanks guys about the suggestion of shifting the Hall sensor... by the way I confirm the model of hall sensors as I purchased 10 of these sensors (S$65) and they are exactly the same as what is installed in jeti gimbal. I will take the shifting as last resort to do, as I don;t really want to risk da...

Re: Reversing Aileron Stick After Taranis Gimbal Upgrade
Kilrah, 1) I have got the environment installed "https://github.com/opentx/opentx/wiki/OpenTX-OSX-Build-Instructions" 2) I make the changes on the adc_driver.cpp to try to reverse the stick direction 3) I did use the "make PCB=TARANIS" to create an opentx.bin, upload the firmware...

Re: Reversing Aileron Stick After Taranis Gimbal Upgrade
Mike,
As you said, I did it and it work in "EEPROM for ersky9x" , once I revert back to OpenTX frmware...all is gone.
Any suggestion how I can resolve this ?
Much appreciated for all the help you have provided that got me to where I am. Very close.

Re: Reversing Aileron Stick After Taranis Gimbal Upgrade
Bob, Just to be sure , I have an original Taranis that I am trying to reverse the gimbal stick for alieron and rudder , as I upgrade it with Jeti gimbal. The solution is : 1) backup my taranis firmware and model 2) Flash Firmware to erSky9x on Taranis and then go to Radio Setup / Controls and then y...

Re: Reversing Aileron Stick After Taranis Gimbal Upgrade
There is a hardware menu, but no option to reverse the stick. In fact quite funny that the option is to type a name or symbol that I am not sure what it is for.

Update : Maiden test flown
Update : Test flown my DLG with great success...very happpy. Smooth.

Still need to figure out how to reverse the stick..so i dont have to change my channels and it is not so intuitive to work with reverse sticks.

Re: Jeti tx Gimbal on Taranis
Mike, Kilrah, Thanks for the 2 stage low pass filter...it work out quite well ( pending real live flying test ). I am using 10K resistor with 0.68uf capacitor for stage one cut-off Frequency of 23Hz...and then 20K resistor with 0.68uf capacitor for a cut off of 11Hz. Do you expect any issue with thi...

Re: Jeti tx Gimbal on Taranis
Kilrah, Mike, I have tried quite a few combo of resistor/capcitor of low pass filter , it is clear to me this is not the right option. As it will reduce the performance/precision of moving to Jeti gimbal in the first place. I think going timer 5 channel to read PWM, modifying openTX is a better opti...

Re: Jeti tx Gimbal on Taranis
Kilrah, Mike, Ok...I solve the voltage problem with a boaster getting the power from Taranis , and the output is good range of 0V to 2.7V and will not kill the taranis. You can see form the video the throttle/alieron stick is feeding into taranis and seem in the calibration screen. But it is "j...

Re: Jeti tx Gimbal on Taranis
Can I run taranis on 1S 4000mah ? currently I am running 3S 2500mah....
If yes, I could pick 1st voltage from switch VCC input directly to power the gimbal.

Re: Jeti tx Gimbal on Taranis
Mike, Joao, I totally understand ... I had a voltage boaster in the earlier video from 1s to constant 5.1V. I tried just now having 1S feed straight and remove boaster.... wah la ....I got the output voltage range from 0V to 3.05V. Exactly what the standard gimbal is outputing.... Now any idea where...
