Re: RSSI = 0

Just in case someone stumbles along here with a similar problem I want to point out if you are using UART1 on your Naze32 for FrSky Tlm, the Naze only pumps out data when the board is armed. This little nugget of info is out there in a bunch of places and now it's here. It took me a few minutes of h...

Re: RSSI = 0

Thanks Mike. That worked like a charm.

I'll hold off on asking about getting Vbatt down to the Tx. Looks like the Er9x manual addresses this. Just need to decipher it a bit.

Thanks again for all of your help.

RSSI = 0

Trying to figure out why RSSI on the 9xtreme is showing zero. TX - Turnigy 9x with 9xtreme upgrade. External XJT module installed. Dip 1 on XJT set to On so it will work with D4R-II Rcvr. Set custom TLM screen to display RSSI. Didn't make any other setting changes to TX. RX - D4R-II, PPM output to N...

Re: 9Xtreme Connecting XJT Module

BINGO!! Now that makes sense. I'd rather solder and keep the wires internal. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks,

Re: 9Xtreme Connecting XJT Module

Mind if I ask for clarification on "For the XJT just connect the black wire for the telemetry connection to pin 5 (bottom pin, old antenna connection)." ? When looking at the back of the XJT there's two columns of pins. The left column has Rx, Tx, +5v, Gnd. The right side says Smart Port, ...

Re: PPM and the 9xtreme

Thanks João!! Really appreciate all you guys are doing to help out.

I was simply looking for a slight nudge. You provided that.

I have a dumb question about the installation of the XJT but I'll post that question in the thread on XJT installation.

PPM and the 9xtreme

I'd like to upgrade my Rx to PPM and add the ability to send Tlm back to the Tx. I understand in order to do this I need to upgrade the Tx from the stock RF V2 module in the back. Recently upgraded to the 9xtreme and absolutely love it. A very nice piece of kit. What module to you guys recommend I u...

Re: Tx Disk Not Mounted

First off, thanks for the quick response. I loaded the newer version. Now when I run eePskye it's Rev 419, Oct 25 2015. Plug in USB on Tx (unpowered) and try to read EEPROM and still get Tx Disk Not Mounted. Unplugged Tx, pinched trim tabs and powered. Waited for disks to mount. Retried to read EEPR...

Tx Disk Not Mounted

I've found several references to this issue but none of the solutions have worked for me. Goal: Use eePskye to read EEPROM from 9xtreme, edit model configuration, burn the updated config to the EEPROM Seems pretty straight forward. I'm running eepskye Rev 420, Aug 2 2015 on a Win7 machine. With Tx p...
