Re: Companion9x for Mac

I eventually managed to build everything from scratch and run companion9x on macosx 10.5.8. More info here http://www.openrcforums.com/forum/viewt ... 887#p37887

Re: linking on macosX fails for Q*

solved. I had to build it from scratch and tweak the Qt-install a bit. Now the damn thing works. Basically i followed the NewMacBuild guide from the wiki https://code.google.com/p/companion9x/wiki/NewMacBuild. Unfortunately, with all the prepackaged Qt I picked and tried, and I tried everything avai...

linking on macosX fails for Q*

compiling r1629 works ok now on macos X 10.5.8, but linking barfs like this mkdir /Volumes/Vault/Users/c9x/src/Companion9x/trunk/xcode/Release/companion9x.app/Contents/MacOS cd /Volumes/Vault/Users/c9x/src/Companion9x/trunk/src setenv MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET 10.5 /Volumes/Vault/Developer/usr/bin/g+...

thank you. Now that you mentioned the revision I can see the revision's commit message stating that as well - stupid me, sorry, that will teach me.

Re: which revision equals the v1.13 release?

thank you.
I bought a gruvin board early last year but have just begun to dive into the hardware, companion9x and now open9x.
As I am new to companion9x, please forgive me mentioning this, but would it help to later identify and reproduce the release versions if you created a tag for such revisions?

which revision equals the v1.13 release?

I must build companion9x myself, since the provided binaries do not run on Macos X 10.5.8. To do that I got the latest rev from the repository but suffered compile problems with the translation files. (filed under issues, no comment yet) So the question is: what revision was used as a basis to build...

Re: No spring on ELE stick for mode 2?

Bought it as mode 2. Both sticks have spring load on left-right (YAW & ROLL). but no spring load feeling in the up-down direction (THR & ELE). Update: I opened the case and the right stick (ELE & AIL) does have two springs just as it should. After loosening the spring tension screws the ...

No spring on ELE stick for mode 2? [solved now]

curious,
I have an old t9x, mode 2. The right stick is AIL & ELE; AIL has a spring to center the stick, ELE does not.
Is this normal?
It there an easy way to attach a spring to ELE?

Re: Gruvin Board

Hi,
bought the blank pcb, went shopping for parts, got most in two places. Now I look at al this and know this soldering job is not for me.
Would love to buy the fully assembled pcb and cd-card addon - but sold out in shop.

use gruvin as base for mods?

Hi, for the last couple days/weeks I have been digging into the various flavours of t9x firmwares. I am trying to decide on which variant to choose as a starting point. As the changes I want to do require hardware mods, I have come to think the gruvin board with its extended ports/cpu might be ideal...

thanks for the offer. I will need to take my time to get my way with the new TX and the different firmwares' innards. Then I will decide and come back on that offer when there is some output/ideas to share.

thanks for the quick answer, but I got some questions left You would want a jr dm9 airmod if going for a plug in solution. I have one in a radio. wanted - advice for picking a firmware as starting point

Hi Rafal, good to see you joining in and represent radioclone on this platform. Also it will be much easier to contact you than with sf. Some weeks ago I had a question on which flavour of firmware to choose as starting point for my own development here http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=...

Re: wanted - base for feature adding

thanks for those pointers.
Just to clarify - I do not want to replace the one stick with the sensors. Those are meant as an add-on and can be de/activated by pressing a push-button.

radioclone is completely different and not being dealt with here?

Re: wanted - base for feature adding

I want to do 3 things: a) 'remove' the LCD and attach (via Serial; is ithat possible?) a color touchscreen. That device has possibility to offload some logic to its own cpu or I could use it to just display the GUI and send button events down to the t9x. b) attach gyro+acc 6DOF IMU to optionally ste...

wanted - base for feature adding

Hi, I am new to t9x hacking. I want to add some sensors to the tx for input and replace the LCD with a touchscreen+color display. I need very customizable input mixing and assigning. (my background is some MultiWii hacking) I can see a lot of work has gone into the various flavours of t9x firmwares....
