Re: How to connect USB joystick via 9X or 9XR?
You don't need a computer. There are standalone USB-PPM interfaces like this one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17165__BT_1_8_Channel_FPV_Joystick.html?strSearch=joystick Why don't they sell that with out the joystick :| Because the "USB" connectors on the device aren't reall...

Re: Sv: How to connect USB joystick via 9X or 9XR?
There is no USB interface in the 9x, so you can not connect directly. What people are doing is connecting their joysticks, gamepads etc to a computer and use the computer to convert the digital serial data from the joystick into the signals transmitters can receive via their trainer ports. This cou...

How to connect USB joystick via 9X or 9XR?
I have a Turnigy 9XR and a Turnigy 9X and have seen a few videos of people use a usb joystick to fly and it seems to be connected through their Tx. Not sure if it was a 9X or something else. Haven't been very successful in googling so wanted to through in a question here :) Is it possible to connect...

Re: 9x Pistol grip or equivalent Tx?
*Sigh... seems as my old futaba Fp-t2pb Rx is dead (old 2ch) but the pontimeters on the Tx seem to be ok. Could I .. I know this sounds crazy but could I mix a jack cable from the gun radio to be used with the trainer port on my 9x and just let the 9x hang around my neck and hooked to the old magnum...

what can be done with just the mainboard?
I am thinking about getting the ersky9x board once the new one comes. I was wondering what I could do with the stock board, what would I need to make a DIY 9x? other than module screen and gimbals? would I need the pcb where the powerbutton and speaker is or could I mix that somehow?

Re: 9x Pistol grip or equivalent Tx?
I am not sure what benefits this FW has for cars/boats over 9x? Lets say I would mesh together an ugly Frankensteinesque pistol grip 9x. Would the 9x FW have some downside for a car/boat, are there features on car Tx's that are not in the airplane/heli Tx's and vice versa ? [EDIT] strike out the vic...

I just dug up some old rc nitro buggys and my futaba 2ch pistol grip radio and now I want more! Is there a cheap hackable pistol radio wich is as active as the 9x?
Or should I make a monster out of my old futaba and the guts of a 9x?

Re: I need to replace the "throttle" pin..
the problem with the potentiometers is that the 9x uses pots with the 5K Ohms on only about 30 degrees each side from the centre. if the ones from walkera are like that they would probably work.. But if the problem is the pot you could maybe repair it, or at least try.. I think the pot is ok. cause...

I need to replace the "throttle" pin..
I dropped my 9x just now... and it landed face down on asphalt. The throttle stick is a bit off first off the spring that stiffens the throttle didn't seem to hold it at all (when I went all the way up and let go the pin would just fall back) so I opened it and tightened it. But I noticed that there...

Re: help a noob
For multicopters, all you have to do is create a new model (turns up as standard 4-channel airplane) and you're done. Nothing more is needed. All the work is done by the multicopter's computer. The only thing you might have to adjust is limits/subtrim/reverse, and set dual rates and/or expo as desi...
