Thanks Mike.
No only one pot but need three different values to flow through to each DR.
Didn't think of the obvious of using ID switching in the mixer - so thanks for that!
Cheers and thanks.

Re: GVAR selection in Expo/Dr tab
Oops - Just thought I should mention this is not true differential as in one aileron going up more than the other going down.
I'm using it for elevator control of elevons so I can adjust glider looping up or down without dropping a wing (up and down <pitch> differential)

Re: GVAR selection in Expo/Dr tab
So far I've only tried GVAR in Expo/DR. I'm trying for elevon differential by using different values (values called by the GVARs) in the DR Left and DR Right. Eg: currently - ELE Not ID2 Not ID1 HIG 100 100 83 100 MID 100 75 66 100 LOW 100 50 38 100 want - ELE Not ID2 Not ID1 HIG 100 100 GV1 100 MID...

GVAR selection in Expo/Dr tab
Hi. May be missing something simple, but I can't seem to select anything other than "GV1" in the Expo/Dr tab for "D/R Left" and "D/R Right". Expo's though are fine with GVARs. Is there a trick other than ticking each of the GVAR boxes underneath the dropdown box? Unsele...

Re: er9x development
Hi Guys stepped away from er9x developments for a minute or two (ok a year!) and great to see things have moved on (in a big way). Last time I was here the voice mod was the project of the day and I still get a kick out of this feature even though its old hat now. I still want to keep 'Betsy' going ...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
+1 on SD card problems. It took two cards for me to find success and I still find files truncate unless I overwrite all files every change. Module seems to be fussy with respect to cards.
Cheers.

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
Good to hear you got your module working CJ, trouble-shooting guide fits - if the BL is working look to the module or card ;) Interesting work on the pop elimination. I know the journey can be more fun than the destination, but now I have field tested the non-amped module I can say more volume is no...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
Guys just a SD Card observation: I believe the voice modules are a little fussy with the SD Card, as I recently found I was getting a voice-message cut short consistently. On the PC that SD Card file was fine. The fix was to copy all the voice files onto the Card again (overwrite). Doing only this (...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
C.J - I know your frustration as I went through similiar before finding my SD Card was the culprit. I strongly recommend you go and buy a new SD Card - they are cheaper than your time and hammer! Actually scrub the above, as you have problems with the serial lines out of the '574, with BL ok - corre...

You could look at the Voice Open9X thread. Thomas9x has made a PCB and links to it. Here's the start of that sub-topic: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=1257&start=30#p21291

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
Yeh still needs a little trickery though. This is what I typed to ask it to say my welcome message: "Welcome to ei are, 9 x!!!,,, Argo piloting!!!"
Took me awhile to get it (her) to say 'e' (as in 'e'r9x)

Mr jhsa - I've noticed my voices are slightly different to yours in the voice pack. Just to check, are you using: iSpeech, English female (UK), normal speed? Could simply be my Audacity equalizer setting, but thought I would check. Cheers.

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
Argo: I'm working on eepe to get the safety switches page operating as alarm and voice switches as well. Ism this the functionality you are referring to? Or are you asking for actual voice output? I don't think voice output would be very meaningful, there is no telemetry to voice. I'm a bit slow wi...

Think I can appreciate that Mike. An EEPROM structure change sounds like a 'clean whiteboard' project, with all the debugging that would ensue!
Just a question still on coding, is much involved to get the Voice functionality on eePe? Honest no pressure meant!

Hi, the timed custom switch is in a loop, so when you flick the switch to hear the info, the C.Switch might just have turned off and you have to wait till it comes on again and trigger the voice.. if you're using my files, the welcome message has some background noise (hiss). forgot to remove it.. ...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
I would suggest the usual things before connecting:
Best of luck
- Supply voltage around 3.3
- Supply voltage correct polarity
- Speaker not shorted
- Clock and data lines around 3.3V or 0V
Best of luck

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
Hey Mike Quick question on the interface circuit. I've made one up (yet to install) and just wonder how the 'Busy' part of the cct works? I'm guessing TR1 grounds the PB7 signal to inhibit clocking when the Audio module is busy, but as PB7 is directly connected to the MCU (no resistor) I can't see h...
