Re: Taranis Plus S2 pot problem
Kilrah, I did conduct a recal. of the entire radio thinking this might resolve the issue but it did not. Is this considered a non-issue with OTX?

Kilrah, thanks.
Also, I asked you about the S2/S3 issue on the X9D+ TX (a different thread - viewtopic.php?f=97&t=7122&p=98153&hilit ... ent#p98153) any comments, suggestions?

Re: Taranis Plus S2 pot problem
PS I know S2 and S3 are good working pots (recently replaced because of this issue), good solder joints i.e. no issues with the soldering and connection of the two pots.

Re: Taranis Plus S2 pot problem
Kilrah, I see that the S2 issue was submitted back in the June 2015 time frame as a problem do you have any further information? I just upgraded to 2.1.9 and I am seeing a similar situation but S3 is installed and defined! At first S2 would not even work so I undefined (hardware screen), powered off...

Re: Tried to upgrade OTX 2.0.20 to 2.1.9 error finding .bin file
Kilrah, thanks that gets me closer to resolving this issue. Now I get the error "could not check firmware from radio" (radio off, USB connected, profile set to FrSky Taranis 9XD+) and the firmware update process automatically ends. I am able to update the FW via the three finger solute but...

Re: Tried to upgrade OTX 2.0.20 to 2.1.9 error finding .bin file
I do want to reopen this question. I should be able to connect my x9d+ (powered off state) via USB to my computer, launch OTXC v2.1.9, select write firmware icon, navigate to the location where my "opentx-taranisplus-en-2.1.9" is stored and write the FW and new bootloader to my x9d+. I am ...

Re: Taranis 6 position switch
Although this is an old subject area I do have a question. I had installed the 6 position rotary switch (FW v2.0.20) and it seemed to work fine for a few months. Then I noticed I was getting erratic entries when I was attempting to make a change to one of the 6posw settings. I thought it was a defec...

2.2.11 Firmware and the 6 pos rotary sw
Can Kilrah or someone tell me if the 1st FW version that supports the addition of a 6-position rotary switch is Open TX v2.2.11? If this is not the 1st version that supports the addition of this rotary switch then what is the 1st version?

Re: Tried to upgrade OTX 2.0.20 to 2.1.9 error finding .bin file
Found the solution, Kilrah once again provided the answer. With 2.0.20 I should have powered up the x9d+ rather than try this with power off via the previous FW load method.

Tried to upgrade OTX 2.0.20 to 2.1.9 error finding .bin file
I have a Taranis X9DP v2.0.20 OTX, kept existing OTXC 2.0.20 and installed OTXC 2.1.9. Stored "opentx-taranisplus-en-2.1.9.bin in a deeply nested file and then navigated OTXC 2.1.9 Firmware Update path to this deeply nested file. Get error message "Executable D:..path, opentx-taranisplus-e...

Re: OpenTX 2.1 released! Flashing X9DP via OTX 2.1.9
My X9DP has OTX 2.0.20 and I want to upgrade to v2.1.9. Backed up all files in the X9DP, kept OTX 2.0.20 application on my desktop and downloaded the OTX 2.1.9 (installed in a separate folder inside of OpenTx Companion C: drive) and made sure the settings are the same as 2.0.20 OTX. Saved the opentx...

Re: X9D+ / FLVSS reporting different voltages
Kilrah (and others), part of the reason I keep asking questions that must seem like I have not bothered to read the documentation is that I have not found a manual that comprehensively explains the functions of the X9D+ and this is a good example. I was not aware that use of "-" means to d...

Re: X9D+ / FLVSS reporting different voltages
Kilrah, I am sure that I am using: Cell- and Cels- (please re-read my post). Additional information, it is like the X9D+ retains the last lowest reported FLVSS (Cell- / Cels-) and does not update when the voltage of the LiPo bat. transitions from lower voltage to higher voltage, does that make sense...

Taranis X9D model screen shows dashes and boxes??
I just encountered something I have not seen before with the X9D+ Tx. One of the 3 model display screens (1 of 3 screens versions for the model can be selected see photo). All other models simply have dashes but my Hexcopter model display shows boxes and dashes?? Does anyone have any idea what these...
