Re: T9X Trainer Pinout
Simple stereo cable will work Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Good to know! I still would like to know the pinout for the 9x because I've been thinking of making a DIY headtracker that would send the PPM stream into the trainer plug...but I don't know how to wire that because I don't know th...

T9X Trainer Pinout
Can anyone give me the pinout for the T9X trainer port? I have searched and searched and cannot find it anywhere online!
Also, I would like to use a DX5E as a slave and my T9X as the master..is this possible? Do I need to make a special cord or would a simple stereo or mono cable work?
Thanks!

Budding Boxing with HobbyKing HK6S
I have a 9x and my friend has a HobbyKing HK6S. I would like to buddy box with my 9x being the master and his HK6S the slave. Now would a plane male to male mono cable work for this? Has anyone tried a setup like this with the HobbyKing HK6S?

Has the Altitude source option been included yet? I seem not to find where to change it to use the GPS data.

Re: A couple of suggestions
This is true, however mph is 100% natural for me whereas with knots I am always converting it to mph in my head. But, maybe that's just me.

Re: A couple of suggestions
Am I correct that the Imperial version uses knots for the speed? (I just tested it and that seems to be the case) If so, why not use MPH?

I just flew with r748 and the GPS alt worked well! I was able to zero it on the rpm screen and it seemed to be showing up correctly. Great work!

I'm not sure. It'd be nice if one of the developers could confirm what exactly it is measuring in.

Re: FrSky GPS questions
Yes, a zero option would be great. And I have it set on imperial but it seems it's measuring altitude in meters...not 100% sure on that.

Re: FrSky GPS questions
Yes Western NY...It appears where I am it's about 273 meters ASL so that might explain it. So the GPS is measuring altitude in meters then??

Re: FrSky GPS questions
Today I was able to try the gps out in air. Overall it did very well. Altitude would not zero however. On the ground it was reporting about 270ft. However in air it did seem to go up and down as appropriate it was just 270ft too high. Maybe there needs to be a feature in er9x to zero the gps altitud...

FrSky GPS questions
Well now that my radio is modded for telemetry (thanks Erez! :) ) I've been getting the FrSky hub and GPS set up. I haven't had a chance to test it in flight because of the weather but just doing some ground testing I've noticed that after the GPS gets a lock it starts saying my altitude is 200-some...

Okay, well then I guess I'll try others. Maybe I'll buy a card and use the speaker from that like some other guys on here have done.

Re: Haptic Questions
Well that could be it, but I don't think so. It seems that the stock speaker might have been even louder than this one.
Just a thought, I didn't have exact resistor matches so I used a 1.1K instead of 1k and 470ohm instead of the 390ohm. Could either of these changes make it be more quiet?

Well i just followed that guide and it seems to be working! I get vibration for things like, center trims, new model, low voltage alarm, etc. However I wish the pezio buzzer was a bit louder. This is the one I installed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/220951641092?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984...

I haven't done any modding yet. I'm just confused because the two boards in the wiki look exactly the same. My board has a slightly different layout (there's pictures of it in the other haptic thread).

Re: Haptic and Speaker mod on radios with collector piezo
My 9x also has this new version of board. From Cheeto's pictures I can prettymuch make out how to set up the mod but some things aren't clear such as where to scrape the tracks, and where the one speaker wire is soldered to. If someone could clear these up, or maybe draw a simple diagram that'd be g...
