Re: Problem with USB
Hi again. My computer is a Mac Book Pro, I'm wondering if that should be the problem. But, certainly, it didn't happen before with previous versions of the firmware. What version of OSX are you running? Upgrading my MacPro to El Capitan broke quite a few USB peripherals, including my 9XR Pro. :evil...

Re: Voice Packs for Ersky9x
If you have a Mac, you can generate all the voice files covering more than 20 countries/50 speakers in couple of minutes. I wrote a simple bash script extracting file name and phrase from a text file and it took about 2 minutes to generate entire English voice files for er9x. Brilliant :o Can you p...

Re: Need help with 3 pos switches addition
Since you converted the AIL switch to 3-pos, you also have to set AIL in the HARDWARE menu. If you connected the extra wire to J2-2 (the spare digital input on the second slot from the top of the J2 connector on the left) then you should set it to DAC1 :?: IIRC. Mike or João, please confirm... Aless...

Re: 9XR-PRO Hacks and Fixes
Octavio, I installed it on the back side, so that I can rotate/press it with my right hand. There is just enough space between the gimbal and the battery compartment. I'm pretty sure there are more elegant solutions, but I got lazy  Also, I didn't want to substitute or move one the pots (P2 pos...

Re: 9XR-PRO Hacks and Fixes
Yes, it works like a charm (after removing the pull-up resistors :) ) For anyone interested, this is the Keyes encoder I bought but you can easily search for similar items in your local site: http://www.ebay.it/itm/181775583010?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Alessandro

Re: 9XR-PRO Hacks and Fixes
Thanks Mike, that's what I thought.
I just removed the resistors as I will not be using the + pin. According to the specs the signals should behave like regular A, B.
Won't be able to test until tomorrow, I'll let you know the outcome.

Re: 9XR-PRO Hacks and Fixes
Hi, after installing 3-pos switches on my 9XR Pro, I'm about to add a rotary encoder. I got one of these pcb mounted encoders on the Bay: http://www.alsand.com/images/rotary.JPG They have 10K pull-up resistors on both data pins (CLK, DT), should I remove them or leave in place? :?: :?: Alessandro
