Re: logic switch use?
If you use a 30 second countdown as a wave file and "play track" when the motor starts, it would free up a timer which could to do the slot time
I edited a one minute count dowm MP3 and coverted it to wave file, or you could record your own

Re: Flap value
on my Taranus plus it works best with no delay on logical switch and the function set to 3s channel 10 is set to 200% with 200% offset the value is read off chn 11 getting its value from 10 but only 50% I can now move the slider slowly and still get a reading I will change it to 5% to give flap valu...

Re: Flap value
Magic!! but does not work if I move the slider slowly, V2 needs a value of 0.1, i can get over it by increasing the weight on channel 10 to 200% then using another ch to divide down
Thanks

Flap value
My left hand slider lowers the flaps on my model and it reads out the amount 1 to 100%, but I only want it to read the amount when I alter it.
Is there a way to do this with open TX?
I have a high channel getting its value from the slider and play value contolled by a switch at the moment

Drex
For some time I have tried to find out what this setting is
I found this and I am still baffled
"Drex: taking into account formatting handle, otherwise the gross order from the handle is used"
Can someone make it easier to understand? is it something to do with dual rates?

Re: Taranis and Haptic feedback
How about conecting the haptic motor to the display light via a solid state relay?
one of the switches could be used to turn it off.

Haptic problem
I can alter haptic strength on the setup page
On the fuction page I get the same haptic pulse when I select 1, 2 or 3 in the right hand column
I would like three diffent pulse lengths

Re: count down
Thanks, I have trimmed the file to 1 min, removed some of the numbers and made it a wave file
it's at http://www.glos-mfc.co.uk/phil/1min.wav
I found another set of files at http://www.rmsadenver.com/f3j_announcements.htm

Re: How to set the 3 position switch for flaps ?
Most models need a bit of down elevator compensation, one of mine needs 40% down when I lower the flaps
just add two mixes, use max as source and ID1 & ID2 to switch in the elevator mixes, I highlight the mix amount and adjust the mix while flying

Re: model crash
I have noticed that the memory is used up by altering the trims,. I tried a simple model using 140 units of memory with 120 free, altering the trims reduced the memory to 60 but model continued to work with no warning. I did get a low memory warning when I switched on again. I found Open9X great unt...

Re: model crash
Which board, which firmware, which version? 124bytes remaining? That's far too low! Especially with a model using Flight Phases and a lot of mixes! It's a long time I didn't test myself the Low EEPROM alarm. My guess right now would be that you were trimming, ran into a "Low EEPROM" alarm...

On Sunday the controls on my model locked- no reponse. the tramsmitter had the word EEPROM on the main screen. I tried to switch it off and back on but did not have time as all the switches had to be reset first. The only odd thing was the memory was on Zero it was reading 124 the last time I added ...
