Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

Already tried, do not play, it's 18kHz. Not sure if that affects playing.

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

Hi,

I'm enjoying my new voice spoken tgy 9x, but wanted to expand voice library. Do anybody have any suggestion for female speech synthesizer that outputs to 22kHz 16bit?

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

BP port = Beeper transistor Base pin in TX main board. Please see picture: http://www.file.emiter.hu/file/Modellezes/Turnigy/er9x/Voice_Hungary/MegaSound_9X/bekot_n.jpg Seems we misunderstood, I would like to leave haptic mod if possible, and I have cut trace going to transistor for beeper signal. ...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

Hi, I have Megasound 9X and audio and haptic mod (http://openrcforums.com/wiki/index.php/ ... ModAlt.jpg).

Where do I connect Bp (9)? Can I leave haptic mod, just need to remove buzzer ?

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

The LM358 does not work well from a 5 volt supply, it cannot drive its output high well. I would suggest using a MCP602, a CMOS rail-torail op-amp, same pinout. Also, as it is CMOS, it uses less current, and has much lower input loading, so you could use higher value resistors. Mike. But diagram is...

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

Since all hall sensors have starting offset, it would be nice to remove it. I'm no electronics guy and this could be wrong and not efficient but simulator showed it should do the trick, if someone have more knowledge in electronics it could optimize this more because I ended with voltage divider on ...

Yes, resolution in that case would be 0.3A

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

but with unidirectional 100A you can measure 65A with no voltage divider and still preserve good resolution!

offset=0.6V and resoulution=40mV/A

so 0.6V+(40mV/A x 65A) 2.6V = 3.2V <-- bingo!

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

UPDATED! But I think that with the biderectional sensor you would have to set an offset on the radio as the zero amps would not be equal to zero volts on the output, right? Right, offset is 0.6V Also why a divider? If you look at the specs on the ebay page, it says that output is 2.5V. I don't know ...

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

from their docs:"When the current flowing through the copper conduction path (between the IP+ and IP- pins) exceeds this threshold, the open drain overcurrent fault pin will transition to a logic low state"

So in theory over 50A it should show 0A

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

"The thickness of the copper conductor allows survival of the device at up to 5x over-current conditions." So you won't go down because of that, but if you get reading of 60A from 50A sensor let me know I'm curious too :)

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

not in simple way, it involves opamp and subtracting 2,5V from start voltage so you don't need to divide voltage. My suggestion: http://www.rctimer.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=861 , clean, simple and plug&play But my opinion is if you have something that runs on 60A, +/-1A of...

Yes, 100A only lacks resolution, output voltages are same.

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

Another current meter but this time 50A (but for same price you can get 100A version) and more simpler!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/390341332320

in this version it's only needed 2x1.5kohm resistor and 10uF capacitor:

Re: FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

If someone don't want to solder and 30A is not enough RCTimer have perfect one for FrSky analog ports (voltages already scaled for 3.3v):

DIY FrSky Amp/Current Sensor.

As the title says, I was going to make one because the I figured it would work with Open9x. First of all I needed a current meter, I found it easily on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/400329737443?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 30A, enough for my needs. The next problem to 5v s...

THR. CUT and AIL. D/R not working

Hi, My THR. CUT and AIL. D/R switches are not working after doing hard-wire upgrade and flashing open9x to my 9X. Tried flashing ER9x but same, swithes are always off. In diagnostic mode that switches never became active. Was extra careful when doing hardware mod, and yea, did sound and haptic mode ...
