Hey guys I just got my new Taranis X9D plus in the mail today. Went to bind to my X6R's and will not bind. I updated my X6R's like 2 months ago with new firmware.

So I proceeded to update the Taranis to current firmware. That went fine.

Then I downloaded new firmware for the XJT module. Unzipped and put the file non-lbt into the firmwares folder. Booted into bootloader mode it says
Taranis Bootloader - 2.1.6
Selected Write Firmware and nothing is there.
So I then decided to put the firmware file on the top of the drive in no folders. I also made a folder named FIRMWARE without the S and tried again. Still no file shows up..... The other option I have is to use my external XJT module....But really would like to use the internal one.

So what is going on here? I put the files on the SD card, the other drive that pops up has no available space. How do I solve this one?

Jesus Ok I searched for hours for an answer to this didnt find one so I decided to make a post about it and then I found my answer......Didnt have to go through bootloader to do it...good lord I feel dumb

I'm having same issue. I jacked my firmware up now trying to get it back to the original fw .I'm placing fw into firmwares folder on sd, but no fw sgowing in bootloader. What was the solution??

Shorten file name.

I have the same problem, how resolve the problem?

Shorten file names to around 30 characters or less( I don't remember the exact number, 36 I think)
Somewhere along the line the FIRMWARES folder's name was changed to FIRMWARE. If it doubt put the firmware files into two folders, FIRMWARES and FIRMWARE and try to look at both.

“Firmware” was introduced with 2.2.
The file name must not exceed 32 characters, including extension.
