Voice Control of RC

I have been searching for information on modifying the 9X for voice control of RC. I have a small Infra Red heli that responds to 16 voice commands sent by the IR TX. Has anyone figured out how to adapt a voice module to, say the trainer port, for Voice control of the 9X. I suppose it will also need several more lines of code in the opentx firmware to inplement this.
