Hi Again folks, does anyone know if this is possible using my 9xr. I have a vario benzin helicopter and it uses 4 servo ccpm, if so can anyone give me a rough idea how to mix it on the radio.

thanks

Graham

Just like this:

Code: Select all

CH1: (+50%) Thr
     (-50%) Ele
CH2: (+50%) Thr
     (-50%) Ail
CH3: (+50%) Thr
     (+50%) Ele
CH4: (+50%) Thr
     (+50%) Ail

    Front
     CH1
CH4 CH2
     CH3
Just your Imagination is the Limit :)

Thanks

That's easy, if you would use 60% Thr and 60% Ele on CH1, you would exceed 100% on full pitch and full nick backwards (120%).
This would cause some serious Problems because all servos are mechanically connected by the swashplate and the one on CH3 would try to travel more distance then the one on CH1 and.... *c**p* :D
You can carefully try it, you will hear that the servos will start to make louder noises when you reach 100% on CH1 and they do not travel along any more.
You have to look if the 50-50 does the job, or maybe you need 60-40, just try it.

Hi Graham

did you figure out how to mix the swashplate?
I have just brought a scale benzine with Vario gear & using 4 servo swashplate and have 9XR radio gear.
I'm trying to figure it out myself, but cant get my head around it.
