i bought one but havent used it. Read somewhere, probably HK website, that they dont hold up to repeated, long term use. something about the little pins bending or no longer making contact. so I am saving mine for when I really need it ;) . I agree they would be great for that special job, such as reflashing some esc's . Sorta funny that the tool wont work with HK latest ( and unavailable ) usbasp programmer, as this tool uses a 10 pin connection. It was sorta pricey but I just couldnt resist :)

Hi all.
Is this tool working for flashing a HK 9X?
Thanks for your answers.

No, that one's for 32-pin parts, the processor in the 9x is a 64-pin one.

It's a shame... Is there a similar tool for 64pins processor. I'm not really fan of soldering on the radio mainboard...

Thanks Kilrah!
That's exactly what I need to have a 9x as pupil/spare transmitter with my Taranis.

Works on a Orange RX3s Giro. Usually have to try flashing 4 or 5 times before being successful.

Nope, not those... only know where to find "standard" sockets with all pins, but then it's the opposite, they're more like 5x more expensive than that one ;)
