Jumper T16 not turning on, Bootloader mode only

Hello everyone,

One of my flying colleagues picked up a T16 that shows the following issues:

- When the Powerbutton is pressed, nothing happens.
- The Radio does start in Bootloadermode but shows weird patterns on the Screen. (To be seen in the attached Video)
- I tried to flash OpenTX to it, the process seems to finish, but it still won't turn on.
- The OpenTX Companion can not access the SD-Card to read or copy models to the Radio

Any ideas what can be done to put it in a working state again?

Open the radio and reseat all the flex cables, in your case that will include the LCD one under the mainboard.

I did the following:

- cleaned all ribbon cable connections with contact cleaner before putting them back in place.
-->No change in behaviour.

- wiggle the LCD while powered on to check if there are connection issues.
--> No change in behaviour.

- After some time the text on the LCD disappears, only blinking stripes are left (like on old crt television sets).
- Applying pressure on the RAM-Chip made the blinking patterns and colors on the lcd change.

- I will resolder the RAM-Chip and do another test afterwards.
