Menu to get model list
+ or - to move to the model you want to delete
Enter long (hold enter) to get pop up menu with delete model as one of the entries.

You can not delete the active model, select a different model and make it active then move to the one you want to delete and Enter Long.

OK, in other words, you cannot ever have "0" models for a clean slate?

Nope, and I believe no radio does that :)

if you reset the eeprom completely you will have no models but I think the radio will create a default model.. and that is your clean state :)

Deleting an active model by mistake when the model is on could cause all sorts of unpredictable behavior, so that is not allowed fortunately..

You can do a factory reset if you want to start with a clean slate. Menu Long to enter Radio Settings, Page forward to the Version screen which should have a Factory Reset option.....Menu Long and then confirm. This will erase all models and reset all radio settings.
